>>288695185 So Nemesis Q might be the strongest of them. Well the abilities she showcased certainly had the widest range. Time travel, psionic virus, sentient semi-independent proxies, wide-scale cloaking, teleport. Miroku is busted but seems more limited in what he can do, Granar's telekinesis has many potential applications but I doubt he cares about anything non-combat.

>>288695330 So wait. He killed everyone before escaping, but he left his sister behind, who was then moved to Whatever Island, even though officially the Grigori project was shut down, and then those scientists working in the one safe location somehow all died on Rebirth Day? What?

>>288695382 >>288695393 So they did have a killswitch after all. Kind of bullshit that no higher up ordered him to activate it though. Maybe Granar doesn't have it, but after the second time it should have been top priority to kill them off immediately.

>>288695410 Fuck yeah, finally she is seeing some action. Though you'd think anything Grigori related would be on high alert after Miroku's declaration of war. That facility looks way too quiet.

>>288695444 Thank you, OP! I'm always impressed by the protagonists pragmatism. Not even a moment of hesitation, using a cheat code to fry the guy's brain is simply a good idea, let's go. But man, poor kids.
>>288695394 Nah. He was naked so he stole the clothes of one of their pursuers. He also apparently learned to shoot a rifle at some point(probably pretty easy with enhance) and is using that for easier range than wasting energy with big psi attacks.

>>288695707 Yea it doesn't really make much sense when you think about it. Same with why Miroku needed money or people when he ended up with like 10 followers and all the labour is being done by Grana anyway. I guess this is one of the reason why it ended up being axed, the fights and powers are cool, but the whole backstory really feels lackluster.

>>288697370 With good enough psionic training you can probably read somebodies mind and copy their expertise.

>>288695832 Knowledge of it was probably mostly forgotten after the people responsible for installing it died before getting a chance to use it. While the one guy that knows about it feels guilty and didn't want to activate it on someone who'd objectively just killed his torturers.
>>288697430 Miroku accumulating money makes sense when he needs resources to build an organization, and doesn't know the future. His original plan seems to have been to gather resources while waiting for the meteor to be ready, make his big announcement incognito a couple months before the world would be destroyed so they couldn't hunt him down while he gathered followers, then destroy the world. After which he'd use the accumulated resources to maintain himself and his followers while they get their new world set up.
The initial fight where he lost the money he'd stolen from the yakuza rendered the incognito part pointless as his opponents already knew who he was. But the story never said he didn't find other ways to gather the money he needed. Now currently his fight with Granar being public has moved the timetable for his announcement up, hence why the DVD is blank. There's probably now a different DVD with a recording of the news broadcast, but that wasn't the one that they took.
>>288695091 Granar's such an interesting character. The mangaka really nailed that sense of someone who's on the border between goodness and amorality.

>>288705666 Yeah. I don't recall if it's ever explained why #7 didn't leave with her brother, but if he kills everyone, frees her from the helmet, she opts to remain and he doesn't force her to go with him; then he's done nothing wrong.

>>288695330 To Miroku's credit, he did spare the one guy that was nice to him.
>>288709866 Not that convenient. They already had one test subject escape and wreck havoc on his way out. Of course they’d want an easier way to shut down future test subjects that did the same. Unfortunately for them it seems everyone that knew about and/or actually use the kill switch died before they got a chance to do so. So they failed to make it easy enough to use.

>>288721377 Living by squatting and stealing food and other supplies isn't exactly fun and doesn't sustain them after the world is destroyed. Even if they have an idea they can create Taboo cores which remove the need to eat, they shouldn't have any guarantees on how long that'll take. So for the original plan of being incognito, they'd want money to quietly get a place to stay and to quietly stockpile supplies to cover them until the world is destroyed and for a while after while they start getting their new order established.
>>288695707 There were probably limited supplies on the island, so left for the mainland to search for supplies and other survivors. Assuming they even waited there until the meteor hit. Giant meteor about to hit the world sounds like a great time to ditch work and go home to family.
