I wish I could help OP, but the only medication I used was Sertralin, which does require a prescription. However, I don't think it helped me much at the time, unfortunately. Doesn't mean it wouldn't on you, it just didn't seem to do much on me.
As for supplements with calming effects, there are some teas, like chamomile, and also passiflora (passionfruit) tablets.

>>34625889 >nothing that actually works pls Supplements are mostly sugar pills and have absolutely zero effect on you. Actually, it does produce more cortisol when you look how much money you've wasted on them, so there's that.
>>34625960 >>34625966 Well it looks like sertraline is pretty cheap and legal in most countries so maybe I will try for a prescription if l-theanine or those teas you mentioned don't help enough. Thank you for the advice!

You might need to start trying to go for runners highs. I've been going for runs and it feels great. No supplement can beat what your body naturally produces. Just don't destroy your dopamine by going for extreme pleasure seeking

>>34625865(OP) Just think about it differently and your self-consciousness will subside. Relax! You are not the center of the universe. All those other people in social situations are worried about *themselves*, not you. Your feelings are just brain chemicals, not reality. Relax, observe, fake confidence until you have it. Be interested in others, ask questions, listen, and ask good follow-up questions. Be in a spirit of fun, and it might be contagious.

Heard Clav and the looksmax community mention that pregabalin is pretty good for anxiety
>>34625865(OP) Theanine is shit. I recommend taurine and different forms of magnesium.

>>34625865(OP) Other than the usual exposure that everyone says what helped me was becoming extremely aware of when I was anxious. It is very easy to not notice that you got triggered. So I made like a framework with a bunch of steps for what to do when I notice that I got triggered and then I put a 15min alarm on my watch and just ran the framework everytime. It helped me so much
