I think the bigger issue is not what exact word fits it best, but that it seems to have stayed with you in a bad way
but i would focus less on proving a label and more on whether it felt invasive, confusing or left you with that bad after feeling that does not really go away

Since they never realized the context of the flashback they had when they were young until now, I couldn't imagine how confusing it would be to feel when finding out after. I don't see how, It happened well over a decade ago, and everyone involved was under fifteen. I think our parents were even married at the time.

It's just that I've known him literally my whole life and haven't the faintest idea where or when he would even experience sexual trauma, especially before that point. As of now, I'm pretty sure that's the only weird thing he's ever done.
