i think it was only a year or so ago, when I discovered that there were a bunch of fancy looking ones.

I'd actually seen these types in person but i only found out much later they were also cockroaches.

Better than beetles, but isopods are my preferred creepy crawly.

I don't know what it is about cockroaches, but they are one of the few animals that I absolutely despise based solely on their appearance. And I have no problem with most insects at all. In fact I'm fond of quite a few of them. But fucking cockroaches nope. Weirdly I don't feel that way about Madagascar hissing cockroaches. But any of them that are flat and have those hairy fucking legs and those ugly ass antennae. The way they move. Just disgusting. They illicit a kind of disgust in me that other insects just don't create. And I'm not just talking about house cockroaches. I'm talking about tropical species kept as pets and everything. Every cockroach in this thread disgusts me.

They're pretty cool, I just loathe the main pest species with burning passion. They're honestly some of most repulsive looking insects I've ever seen and you can never truly get rid of them.

i don't like the cockroaches that get into your house as a pest, although the more exotic kind do look cool.

I don't find the 'regular' ones ugly or anything. I just dislike how they crawl on you and carry germs.
