I used to like to use this site regularly to communicate and recieve feedback; even if a thread 404ed i could still browse where it was left before it went dark, now I cant do it anymore. If I go back to a thread that was 404 I cant look at it or save it or anything now the page refreshes and the code advances. Not what to do with the 8+ years of 404 threads but hopefully ai stylography will improve enough to provide insite into 404 culture?

The thread and its spam have been up for 3 days, and instead of the spam getting deleted, nearly all posts criticizing the spam are getting deleted.

Literally what has happened to /a/? I remember the quality of the board going down in recent years, but 2026 seems to have completely taken a nosedive.

most things related to anime seem to have taken a huge nosedive in quality since covid. i hadn't been paying attention so i only recently realised but it feels like nowadays nobody cares enough to maintain any level of decent conversation anywhere (which is sad because i already thought the 2010s and especially post-2016/17 era was shit, but now it's on another level).
