>>62350482(OP) Q1's 10-Q was just posted this morning.
The sales went up, Gamestop sold $835 million worth of stuff (games, consoles, etc.). More than last year ($732 million).
GameStop also made big profit, after all costs, they made about $390 million+ this quarter. (Last year was only $45 million.)
Ryan made smart moves (investments and a derivatives related to trying to buy eBay), which helped a lot.
GME Warchest (Cash & Stuff) GameStop has over $7.4 billion in cash sitting around + other investments. That's still HUGE in case of a market crash or similar.
We also own Bitcoin and other digital stuff as part of the savings plan.
GME still has stores, but we are shrinking some parts (like selling off France in roundabout the next 12 months).
Still have a bunch of debt from special notes they sold earlier, but more than enough cash to handle it.
>>62350864 RC is obviously building his case that ebay is very mismanaged and its executives are milking the company (and its shareholders) by wasting money. This post in particular is highlighting the fact that this insider with likely a bullshit job is enjoying his free money. All of this is to show ebay shareholders gamestop's offer is extremely generous and that it was incredibly damning that the ebay executives rejected it, since they love to sell as many shares as possible for way less than $125.

>>62350864 You are allowed to file things like communication, and I am pretty sure RC is taking steps to make the board of Ebay look like grifting scumbags who are treating the company like a piggy bank. Juxtapose that with RC who takes no compensation and wants to turn Ebay around to start growing again. Part of it is engagement with his shareholders which I am sure they appreciate, and it is also shining a spotlight on the Ebay Board who appears to be fleeing the ship like a pack of rats.

>>62350887 It's actually curious to think why the board would be preferring to sell for less than $125. I wonder if we have another situation where short seller infiltration and sabotage was being planned. From an ego standpoint I could see why they would hate being ousted and proven to be corporate losers. But it sort of makes you wonder.... Bezos' Amazon has always been a partner with shorts undermining of brick and mortar retai. I wonder if there was a next phase to attempt to consolidate the online retail space by also trying to take over or destroy Ebay. I base this on absolutely nothing, but it sure is curious to watch how corporate management seems to behave. It's like they hate the company and they are there not to run it well. Just a little bit of effort and RC did some tremendous things with GME. Really shows you what a good management team can do which is why I will be investing in RC for the rest of my life.

>>62350950 >>62350887 Thank you. I should have realized that he was basically documenting the shortcomings of the eBay board.
>>62350996 >>62351003 Also it's worth noting that a lot of the ebay insider sells were preplanned, so the timing of RC's offer was planned perfectly to show everyone that ebay executives are perfectly content dumping their free shares for anything less than $125. So now gamestop is building their ebay stake so they can take this matter directly to ebay shareholders. RC has done a very good job at documenting how greedy the ebay executives are.

>>62351355 This is why you invest in precious metals. The credit/debt system has basically consumed all capital. We looked Social Security, we looted insurance companies. It turns out that you can't just funnel endless money to the government for it to SPEND and still have it turn around and pay you back. Without the federal government and their bankrupt tax base, ALL leveraged capital is prone to a cataclysmic selloff that can not be stopped because the banking system is broke. Now what we are seeing is Space-X impossible valuation smash and grabs to fleece the public and a literal takeover of pension assets because they literally ran out of money. Tell your boomer parents to go and secure that Walmart greeter job because your magical "retirement" of boundless resources is going to disappear. A lifetime's toil all given to Wallstreet only to find out they were buying yachts is finally set to blow up. The future for Americans is one of "renting" your life. You put in 40 hours and you an have as much TV, corn, alcohol, condoms and pornography as you want. Your medicine only pays for diabetes medication, abortion, and genital mutilation.

Looks like the shills didn't notice the new thread for several hours and were posting in the old thread. Meanwhile gme enjoyers discussed the 10q without shills. Shills big mad.
