Turned out he was a bad guy who wanted to create an Air empire and the avatar who locked him up decided to go sulk in some unreachable corner in the avatar spirit-verse, so she couldn't warn any later avatar about this guy. There was also a McGuffin that allowed its wielder to give people air-bending powers, but Aang destroyed it in order to stop the bad guys air-bending death squads. Then the bad guy disintegrated while going out peacefully, after having spent latter 3rd of the movie ranting at Aang about securing a future for air-bender babies. Also Katara was there during the movie, listening to Aang mope about there being no more air-benders, without even attempting to remedy that in obvious ways. JUST MAKE MORE AIRBENDERS YOU FUCKS! YOU ARE A MAN AND A WOMAN, DO THE FUCKING MATH!

I recommend the Wacom drawing tablet for like 200 bucks I bought it from Walmart with Affirm. People will say you don't need a screen but it really really helps.
Study the style of the show and try to match it. Making two big circles for knockers make it stand out so you need to blend it in. If the image is blurry make sure your stuff is blurry as well.
Final tip if your using photoshop (I'm on cs6) you can make Actions which will make your work much easier for getting your routine started.
