I imagined that when the phone plan failed miserably, the toys, maybe Rex, would desperately reveal themselves to Andy. Naturally, the reaction would be fear, but I believe Woody would try to calm him down and make it as un-creepy as possible, unlike with Sid the Great. if they could communicate directly, the outcome wouldn't change much. Andy would know that staying in the attic wouldn't be good for them, and everyone there was depressed about being in the trunk for perhaps years. But the dynamic would be interesting, and perhaps the guilt Andy might feel. Mr. Potato Head and his awkwardness would be fun to see

Andy would stuff Woody's head up his ass and start twerking

>>154161782(OP) If he discovered they were alive, I think the best moment would be when his mother put the toys in the trash bag and Woody would end up revealing himself to Andy and explaining it to him. Then imagine the debate? Andy and Woody trying to explain that he was putting them in the attic and it was his mother's mistake. They wouldn't even go to Sunny Side at this point, and Andy would probably reconsider what to do with them. Maybe he wouldn't tell his mother; who would believe him? Unless the toys wanted to reveal themselves to more people, he could say he was going to make a special shelf for them under the guise of "collecting them."

>>154161782(OP) The most likely scenario I imagine is a feeling of mutual guilt. Jessie and Mr. Potato Head might blame Andy for neglecting them for years, but Woody would defend Andy and it would be explained that it's natural for humans to lose the desire to play as they mature. Andy could "apologize," but how would he know in the first place? I think the toys would also apologize, and Woody would go to college.

>>154162002 I don't think so Even if Andy told someone, he would risk being treated as schizophrenic and losing social credibility Did the world change after Sid found out they were alive? I don't think anyone would take the risk. Besides, why do you think Andy would let scientists run tests on the toys he loves so much?

If that were to happen, I'm sure of how it would be. The recognition would be silent and not direct like it was with Sid the Worm. He would hold Woody and say: >I always knew you were more than a toy.
And Woody winks with one eye while Andy sees that this would be good. And that's it. No debates or conversations

>>154162033 How exactly would that be possible? Showing humans that toys are alive would mean confronting the idea that they are biological organisms, and they simply aren't.

>>154161782(OP) Why would he donate the toys if he knew they were alive? And if he found out so early in the movie, as you're saying, Woody wouldn't even meet Bonnie the ending would be Andy saying goodbye to them and putting them in something better than a trash bag

>>154162345 The toys do like to be played with, and I don't think Andy is that much into it anymore. Finding a good owner for them feels like the best outcome for all of them.
>>154164033 NTA, but I think he's referring to Woody's comment about "those guys of Christmas decorations" or something like that. Logically, it's a nativity scene, but as far as I know, some Protestants also do that, but whether Catholic or not, he could find it satanic.
