Didn't have the slightest inkling as to who John Denver when I saw this episode for the first time; didn't learn that the in-episode ride having a plane crashing into mountains was a riff on how he actually fucking died until later.

Some something Awful article decades ago pointed out how the Phil collins songs for Tarzan are all really vague and not tied into the actual movie directly by characters or events, so they can be played on adult contemporary stations,and I couldn't hear the songs the same way again. Or any modern Disney songs that are clearly meant to be vague enough to have crossover appeal. It just seems cowardly.
