There are no other general threads on /fa/ except for fragrances, which is equally out of place here. There is no jewelry general, no sneaker thread, the only staple of the board was WAYWT but that died off and gets shitted up by the watch autists too.

If they were stylish it might make sense, but they have zero taste, they're fashion-retarded the same way 90% of car guys will spend 60k on some custom job and then step out of the thing looking like a fat slob. Their obsession with the aesthetic of their special interest seems to have no crossover with their clothing, it's some weird lipstick on a pig situation and it attracts the most boring people on the planet.

It's just that the watch threads have a handful of truly terrible posters in a constant faceoff seeing who will shit up the thread first

There's probably ten to fifteen posters in the watch threads in total. And since so much of it is shit flinging and the spammers find it funny to spam threads while the anti-spammers try to make counter-threads, the entire board takes the fall.
All of this could be stopped ifthe board had poster ID so retards would stop fighting ghosts.
