How do i overcome that? Also, finally got a job in cyber security, starting next monday. Its been my plan for the past 3-4 years ever since i went for a career switch and i got a job in one of the biggest IT companies in the country. And its not a shitty SOC position either.

>>77320155(OP) Happy Monday, brosephs. New week, same goals. >wife's butthole: any% >treadmill until abs >big lifting, little eating
Weekend was mostly good. Didn't stray too hard, managed to stay fairly level, putting me in hopefully good shape to make some actual progress on the cut this week. Some really good sex with the missus, too, nothing anal, but a 69 featuring probably the most time and effort she's put into sucking my dick in a decade. Got my project car worked on for a few hours. Good family time, too.
All would have been great except our youngest asked for a lice check and, yup, fucking bugs again. This is like round 14 of this shit. It's not like when we were littlen either, where you just get the shampoo and you're good. Modern lice are immune to that, so you have to sleep in a shower cap full of oil for several days to literally drown them. And the schools don't make you stay home. They just send out a blanket notice to everyone in a classroom that "somebody" has lice and good fucking luck. This kid is always our patient zero, but she cries at the merest hint of a haircut. If she was a boy she'd have a crew cut, but no, she gets to keep her goddam tresses. And then my wife gets it and I have to comb her out, which is always the worst part because she's the least patient about it. So now it's days of everybody being cranky and bug-ridden.
Anyway. Things were good for a minute. Here's hoping the week goes well.
close to halfway done with android testing on the app. its a pain in the ass trusting over a dozen strangers to log in for two weeks straight but we'll see. going through an eight hour power bi course and i'm gonna know this inside and out by the interview. going at 2x on the videos and it's been going well. have not picked up reading again. did slightly better on the diet. haven't started next app because of work/interview prep/life. missed a day of cardio all in all pretty good week. Work has hit a breaking point in every meaning of the word. i'm definitely ready to leave for even money as long it gets me in the right direction. need to quit snacking
goals this week - start building out requirements for new app, finish power bi course, get golf back on track. also get reading back on track, even if its before bed.
I got wiped out by a sickness and my own bad decisions for a month. Im down to my last 2k in the bank, have 2 months on my visa for the SEA country I'm in, and still need to find a job teaching english. I just spent an hour applying en masse to a bunch of places but there's only so many openings. I know I'm fully qualified to teach but I have an unshakable fear that things won't pan out or that it'll be like the traumatic humiliation ritual of job hunting back home with no results yielded.
Fitness wise I workout harder than ever and eat cleaner than ever while im on the job hunt. But I am weary in life for it feels like even when I do the right thing, I am punished. And when I act wrong, I am punished disproportionately hard. And then there're those who are dumber, less talented, all around worse people that cruise through life. Its tiresome but all I can do is keep trying.
>>77320155(OP) I work two wagie jobs and think I'll quit the one that pisses me off the most. A security job where I deal with people being disrespectful and giving me attitude. It's gotten to the point I barely speak when I'm on shift, but that just makes shit worse because they think I'm some creepy mute autist. Fuck it, it's not worth the money and I'm impact on my mind state. I'd unironically an hero if this is all life has for me. /fit/ wise, losing fat and lifting again, but my numbers are stalling. Oh well, focus on form. Also want to get faster at running

>>77320396 You do the opposite by wallowing in misery, and it's affects are clear. It's soured your mindset so badly that you can't even handle seeing other people move towards happiness. You didn't have to come here to spread disdain, yet you chose to. Crab in a bucket. It's a pitiable state to be in. I hope your life turns around.
Today's lifts >Bench 3x5 @ 245 >Incline bench 3x12 >DB rows 3x12 >Face pulls 4x15 20lbs total/13lbs of fat down in 4 weeks according to the scale Crap day for the bench. Somehow I took an uneven grip on my first set and had to blow everything I had to get 5 reps, and the other sets weren't much better. Bench has been holding strong to this point but maybe I've lost enough weight that it's about to start fading. Legs tomorrow, lower back is just about healed thankfully. Still not doing squats or dreads again until I'm back on a calorie surplus.

Thinking of investing $1000 a month into voo or vti mostly. Also want to become more sociable and personable. I’m actually pretty good socially but don’t get a lot of opportunities naturally to chat with others. Any anons have locations or events they would suggest for working on that? Was thinking rec league sports like softball but idk, seems a bit generic of an option

Saw an injury at the gym today. Guy has the dip belt with a 45 on, when he hopped off the dip bar I guess the chain smushed his nut(s?) between the chain and his thigh. Dude collapsed like he had been shot, desk lady called an ems at his request. Dude was puking and just laying there like he was waiting on death. My Monday wasn't great but it could've been worse.

>>77321151 I hadn't heard of the electric combs. Have to check that out.
Combing the wife went better than usual. First sign of a little hair pull and she's snapping nasty at me. Woman, I gotta comb your whole head 15 times with this itty-bitty little terminator comb. I snapped back though, which is out of character for me. Told her I wouldn't do it at all if she yelled at me. Apologized for pulling her hair and did my best, and she sat through the rest of it without too much complaint.
I really have to remember this. I'm generally a pretty low-key guy, don't want to fight, lots of sympathy for the other side etc. It's one of the reasons she married me, I think. But I seem to come out ahead whenever I stand up for myself, go figure.
Oh well. Women. And she didn't have any lice.

>>77320509 Your thoughts shape your outcome. The first thing that came to your mind was that it might not work out. Which is true, however it can also work out. Life is a coin flip it can land on either side and too often we think first of the worst outcome. Start believing the best will happen. Say it will work out instead of it may work out and go out on face the day ahead.

>>77321533 i've been on the vti game for a decade, its solid.
I WILL GO TO THE GYM 5 TIMES THIS WEEK I WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE SOCIAL PLANS I WILL BECOME CONFIDENT AND HAPPY
I didn’t end up benching last week because of my high school reunion. I had a lot of fun but I feel guilty about not having a proper week of training. This week I’ll return to my current training routine. My goal is still to switch to another training split in July so that I can bench optimally.
My high school reunion went really well! I was worried that it would be awkward but I had a lot of fun. I regret not putting myself out there earlier in life but Im here now. I wish I could become friends with a lot of my former classmates, but they live in a different city and we’re in our late 20s. A lot of people complemented me on my job, my body (I was built like a brick shithouse), and that I seemed happiness. I’m glad that my progress is noticeable. Whereas my high school graduation represented the lowest point of my life, I want to believe that the reunion was a turning point for the better. Life is only going to get better from here on out.
Good luck this week frens! The man you are today must brutally mog the man you were yesterday. WAGMI

>>77325089 so.... I went to the gym that day and came back hungry (expected) but today after I came back from cycling, just the usual stuff aside from me going somewhat harder I was ravenously hungry and I just about decimated my deficit
Now I've gotta figure out what the fuck caused that, since it's not the first time when I was starting out with cycling the same thing happened My best guess is intensity of too high of a gear depletes glycogen making me seek out sugar and calories unnecessarily
I'll try to replicate it tomorrow if my kneecap stops hurting and maybe I'll come to an answer
