I got a 9-5 in graphic design, I waste a lot of time at the office doing nothing. 99% of their workflow is basically AI slop, generating images and tweaking he hallucinations/AI artifacts in photoshop to hide them. That's pretty much all they do. I got into this job being devoured by imposter syndrome, thinking am I cut out, are my adobe skills that great, how's my aesthetic sense, only to find out that they prompt stuff all day, nothing else.

I got about 10 months in this role before I reach a hard-quite deadline to do master's. What should I do/study until then to get back into my field? I have some UI/UX background but I'm disgusted with design related stuff right now so I'm thinking cloud, sysops or data networks. Can I be competent/hireable in 10 months self-studying for any of those in my spare time at work/home?

its crazy how AI supposedly can code something in hours that took months to code by hand before and yet software still pretty much feels the same it felt pre-AI. Some would argue it got worse because of the slop.

I found a job an IT related job in a pharmasutical manufacturing company, I look after very basic IT shit like user management access management shit like that but I am a software engineer and they outsource the development part which I thought I would be doing
Should I fine another job? Or having experience in this help me find a better job in future? I am interested in Linux admin and system admin, the pay is alright
