06/15/26(Mon)13:26:52Is living in a first world country actually better? Or just slightly better?
06/15/26(Mon)13:29:31Humans have a remarkable ability to get used to almost anything. No matter if you live in a slum in a shithole or a fancy gated community in a wealthy country you will probably feel mostly "normal" either way.

Depends on the first world country and depends on the third world country
I would 10000000 times out of 10 pick living in Brazil over somewhere like South Korea, Poland, England or Norway based off vibes alone, as long as I can keep my standart of upper middle class living here and dont get born as a favela monkey or northeastern peasant. Cant really explain it beyond vibes making the quality of life here somehow better, felt that a couple times while being in Germany and the UK
But if im given a good option like the US, Italy and Australia I would pick it up without thinking twice and I would jump to pick anywhere else if I was living in Southeast Asia or Africa or even Central America

>It's overall a much shinier place
06/15/26(Mon)14:56:06I'd pick the most draconian arab gulf state over the Philippines. That's how dire the third world truly is. The lack of labor laws, the lawlessness, the peanut salaries for 14 hour donkey jobs and the ugliness of everything both physically and mentally exhausts me.

depends on your family's level of wealth. overall conditions and living tends to be better, but it depends on the country and city, earning potential and social mobility too even for an immigrant. but if you're super wealthy this would only be a hindrance to your lavish lifestyle.

For a female? it's definitely better, like infinitely unmeasurably better. Wouldn't change it for the world

It's better to be a richfag in countries with higher wealth inequality, because you have greater access to cheap services. Upper-middle class people in Brazil have entire teams of servants to wait on them.
