- With the 29th of May update, the Rainy Season has arrived on the base along with Teru Teru Bouzu. New CGs and voice lines have been added.
- Complete limited quest to collect the teru teru bozu. They can be exchanged for rewards at the end of the season.
- Limited Early Summer quests have been added as well.
- 5-6 has been implemented. To unlock each month, you must clear 5-5. This map contains 1 TP phase and 2 boss phases. Clearing the map rewards 225 ranking points, 4 Development Materials, and 1 Arsenal Resource.
- An A+ rank on 5-6 is required for a limited quest. For tips on clearing see https://zekamashi.net/kancolle-kouryaku/2026tuyu-nanpouhankou/
- 5-5 has seen a reduction in difficulty.
- Suzunami Kai Ni has been implemented. Her Kai Ni requires a Blueprint and 2 New Model Armament Materials.
- Kai Ni Ho has been added to Suzunami, Naganami, and Asashimo. This brings about improved stats and allows for a 4th slot that can equip AA guns and combat rations.
- Fubuki Kai San and Kai San Go (Type 6) have been implemented. Kai San requires level 95, 1 AR, 1 BP, and 5 New Model Armament Materials. Kai San Go requires 1 BP, 5 New Model Armament Materials, and 1946 Instant Construction Materials.
- Shigure Kai San has been updated to have 4 slots, can trigger additional AACI APIs, and can now equip boilers and DCP in the RE.
- Akashi improvements have seen updates to improvable equipment, helper ships, improvement schedule, conversions, fodder equipment, and improvement costs. See game update page for full details.
- Akashi improvement has been updated to use the new Arsenal Resource which can remove all improvements from an item making it available to be used as improvement material.
- Multiple limited drops have been added including Tuscaloosa, Minneapolis, Northampton, and Fletcher. See https://en.kancollewiki.net/Drop_List#Limited_Time_Drops for full list.
- April ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Kyoufuu Kai 2 (Skilled), Do 217 E-5 + TV-guided Hs293D, Prototype 61cm Sextuple (Oxygen) Torpedo Mount, and 25mm Twin Autocannon Mount (Skilled Machine Gunner Squadron) [NEW].
- As of October 16, 2025 the game has entered Flight II-A mode.
- A VPN/Proxy is no longer required to log into the game. You will still need one if you access the game via DMM.
- As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. After 1 year of inactivity games on the platform will have the right to delete your account information if they wish to. Put simply IF YOU GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT LOGGING INTO SHIPTHIS YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR SHIPS EVER AGAIN.
