What are FRTs: Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs) are firearm modifications that allow semi-automatic rifles to fire more rapidly by automatically resetting the trigger after each shot, while still requiring a trigger pull for each round. They increase the rate of fire without converting the firearm into a fully automatic weapon.

>>65191347 It's really expensive for what it is, you could look into the ARC V2 as well. It's cheaper and has HK selectors with 45 degree options. You also could use other triggers like Geissele if you wanted.

>>65191347 2 time raregreed consoomer here. I own the standard AR and MR556 FRT and they both work great. My friend has an MP5 one and it runs almost identically to a full auto MP5. If you have 600 bucks and want a 3 postion MP5 FRT then I would cop.

If RBT gets enough money, they could completely destroy the forced reset revolution that hinges on needing widespread success within the next 3 years.

>>65192956 I got the Dorin one. Not gonna lie it's been a fucking nightmare until yesterday when I had it back and working. Just had to deal with 5 months of preorder + hours try to assemble it only to find out the actuator was too small + getting doxxed because someone at FN Specialties doesn't know how to use BCC + Getting told the wrong address to send it to for repairs to Dorin and paying $20 to send it to the wrong address + waiting an entire extra fucking month to get it back + drowning the triggerpack in CLP + dryfiring it 300 times despite them saying not to dryfire it + 200 rounds ($90 in ammo). Theoretically I think they should've used nylon for the hammer because it doesn't need much lubrication but besides that it's working great it seems after all that bullshit. The cheap fucks didn't even bother color filling in the selector switch and they used F instead of A for some reason. I dunno maybe I'll try color filling it or maybe I'll try to get ahold of an FN plastic one with the correct colorfilled markings for a P90

>>65192978 I just sent my part back. How intuitive is it to use? How much does finger pressure matter? Is it something you have to think about or does it just run? Malfunctioning with a death grip makes sense, just curious where it is on the scale from Glock FRTs where finger pressure means a ton or ARs where it matters significantly less?

>>65192983 It definitely has a break in period (I think dryfiring helps) and you need to lube the hell out of everything. The progressive part takes some getting used to if you want to avoid the single shot - burst and have it be seamless. In the 150 rounds I fired today I didn't have any issues with finger pressure or anything. When I first was testing before all the rounds and before the lube/dry firing I think I was putting too much pressure and it would simply stop the burst and you'd just have to move your finger forward to let it reset and then continue, wasn't like a dead trigger or anything. Still was able to do 25 round bursts by the end of the first day (I was only half loading mags). I'm gonna go out on a limb with some schizo theories here but I think the original issues are because people managed to assemble it in spite of the actuator being super tight and because it was super tight it was creating issues and causing the guns to choke up and suddenly slow the rate of fire. Now in my limited experience with 2011s and 3D printed junk, an overly tight sear leads to an obnoxiously heavy and inconsistent trigger pull

>>65193119 See I haven't intentionally tried to induce a malfunction since I fired it a bunch and did the lubrication and dryfiring and I also haven't had a malfunction since then. I wasn't thinking about "how" soft or hard I should be pulling the trigger in that video either if that makes any sense. The progressive trigger and the distances required for each stage requires more brainpower for me rather than how tight I'm pulling it but I can kinda judge that by simply pulling back until my index finger is touching the plastic of the trigger card if I want to skip through that stage and go straight to FRT?

>>65190976(OP) Is there a reliable 3 position AK frt yet? Worried my state might ban them soon and I want one before that happens. I shoot at indoor ranges too often to justify giving up the semi position entirely
>>65192978 Glad to hear you got your trigger pack back. That almost sounded like a disaster. Got some crayons for colorfill? And F for Forced Reset makes sense imo. Personally prefer not to have my FRT firearms have "F", "AUTO", or "FULL" selector markings if I can help it. Otherwise sounds like an easy way to invite avoidable trouble.

>>65195737 pretty sure given the nature of the P90's trigger pack it's easier to make a 3 position progressive than a 3 position normal. all the third position does is allow the trigger bar to move further back than the second position
