>>65203646(OP) My "rarest" would probably be the DK STG44 which I think a few anons here have. Followed by a SG550 & FS2000
Don't have one yet but have been saving up for a Mateba Unica for a long time, and am finally getting close thanks to recent gains in investments and higher income. Just such a beautiful gun, aesthetically and mechanically. They're going for 15-25k nowadays, but thankfully the one I want is the most common and cheapest version, .357 blued. Maybe nickel if I could get it for cheap enough but they tend to be way more. And yeah I know it's a good investment since these things are never going to drop in price, but dropping 15k+ without being a homeowner is hard to justify imo.
If someone who owns one is lurking itt, post it, I wanna feel the envy

>>65203646(OP) The rarest I have is a Hakim but I've seen like 1 or 2 others on here before so I'm not alone. Then again I've never seen another 1894 CSBL besides my own, it may be the rarest gun I have despite being in production

I have a vietnam bring back m44 mosin with the grenade launcher sight mount mod the gooks liked to do.
Not with the 8 bore. I'm a Bong and the licensing is complicated. Presently it's registered as "obsolete calibre." I could reload and make ammo for it, but I'd have to register it etc. Also, here, you can't use lead for waterfowl and it's not proofed for steel..
So, a lot of hassle if I want to shoot it, but I DO want to shoot it, so maybe I'll jump through all the fucking hoops...

FN ballista
seemed like a good idea at the time but now is a regrettable purchase
>>65205175 Being a prissy bitch I know but "obsolete calibre" isn't a registration.
There is no registration of Section 58 guns.
Also iirc there are some issues around getting S58 guns proofed in the UK before being used at some ranges but I haven't done it myself. I don't know if it would be applicable to hunting anyway.
>>65203646(OP) Not a gun but I've got the magazine for an EM-2, I did know of an EM-2 (deactivated) for sale a few years back but no idea how much it sold for/where.
I'm hoping to find a Danish 8mm Madsen gun for sale or maybe a Dutch 6.5mm Lewis gun at some point, they're legal in the UK without a licence (coz Section 58) and I think it would be extremely funny to own one for that alone.

You are of course, quite correct. But I would have to get it registered and add it to my licence if I were to use it. As to the proofing requirements etc etc. I'll cross that bridge if my urge to use it becomes over powering...
>>65203646(OP) Only ever seen one other guy on /k/ with a completed one. There were only about 900 kits imported and only 1/3 or so have been made according to the 3 big builders I’ve spoken to.
>>65203646(OP) With the absence of fluffcat I don't believe there's another Felk TF919 or Armatix iP1 on /k/. Third Bay Ounce would have qualified until a few months ago, I've seen at least two others have em which is rad. I also haven't seen another Tara TM9 but that's probly for good reason lol
I'm not counting uniquely modified guns or my blue frame guns
>>65206265 I had an idea so few were actually put together. I'm the other guy. Too lazy to dig it out. It's sitting behind my mg42/59 and yugo m76. Those two fuckers are heavy and awkward to move around, so my ar70/90 is locked in.
I have an M1D Garand. Not super rare, but I never see anyone else with one. I still have to buy all the stuff for it, but one of these days I'll kit it out properly.

>>65206761 I do shoot mine. Haven't had it out in a while. Since mines' one of the 1,500 sporters it's technically rarer than yours. >Not as nice looking though

>>65206781 I think I might be talking about your sporter as the only other one ive seen.
>>65206746 I also have one. Mine came from the Danish army. I have since added the cheek pad and a flash hider.

>>65206896 My bro has the 16" version. Even has the big 100 round drum. Thing is an absolute piece of shit. Bolt basically destroyed the rear sights, sent back to Thompson to fix. Mags are a pain, and if you don't insert them right you can fuck the gun up. It's heavy as shit. It is fun to shoot and really accurate. Feels a lot like a 45 SP5.
>>65203646(OP) Dont know how rare they actually are but got a Laseraim that people only remember from Tank Girl. Got a good deal on it for 400, smoothest shooting pistol I have. Takes 1911 magazines but only specific ones with longer bottoms will fit the grip. Ironically didnt come with a laser. Biggest issue is the ejector will shoot out of the frame with the force of a thousand suns the second the slide comes off and Ive lost it twice already. Think they bankrupted in the 90s or something and sold all their patents to AMT. The chamber ramp angle really doesnt like hollow points but if you can shove one in the chamber it will cycle through the whole magazine reliably.
I have a S&W Model 10-6 that was chambered from the factory in .357 Magnum. It was a precursor to the Model 13, only a few thousand were made, most went to the NY State Police, who were the ones that requested such a gun to begin with. It's functionally just a Model 13, but with a different roll mark. Still pretty cool imo. Pictured here with aftermarket grips.
>>65203646(OP) I’ve only seen two in the wild, none on /k, had to make one of my grail guns myself via Form 1, a nickel plated +1 extension from GB and I had a shop nickel finish the front sling QD socket, side saddle and trigger pins, and I drilled and tapped the sights.

>>65204043 At this point it HAS to be cheaper to just learn machining and buy a desktop CNC mill, right?
