Long shot but does anyone here have an M9 safariland SLS holster AND a government 1911 here?

I am genuinely wondering if I can just shove my 1911 in an M9 holster and run it. The prices on 92 holsters are at rock bottom and the prices on 1911 holsters are ridiculous. Difference of $90-120.

I find much pleasurable in this image.

What are my options here? I can't disassemble the gun to find out what is wrong with the gun

take the mag out, and force the slide back with a rubber mallet
the snapcap has probably jumped the extractor and doesn't want to eject

How does a shrouded hammer accumulate lint and debris? I thought the purpose of enclosing the hammer within the frame would eliminate that problem.

Likely lowered QC standards due to the desire to fully saturate the market with gen 6s. Shoot 500 rounds through your Gen 6 Glock before you daily carry it.

1. Soak screws and end of slide where screw holes are in acetone
2. Scrub old thread-locker off (old toothbrush or something)
3. Apply new thread-locker and use torque wrench (adjust for wet vs dry torque)
4. Wait for it to cure (depends on what you use)

That’s certainly a possibility, but you can just inspect your extractor/ejector afterwards for any damage. If you take it to a gunsmith and he finds that slide is stuck too, he’ll get the mallet out lol.
