It's not just hair, it's also your associations with it. To someone born today, zoomer hair will be a 30-40 year old's hair by the time they're old enough to really think about it. They'll look at pictures of how they dress and style themselves today and for the ones that didn't age horrendously or radically change fashion, wonder why their parents or uncles and aunts 'always looked old'.
