When I was about 20 years old

Well, they redid GaoGaiGar (2nd half) in T, L-Gaim and Victory in 30, so it's not like revamping old shows as more than unit-only is impossible, Y just chose to really spread out its additions for old series rather than focusing on a single series (so, you had two battleships and Black Knight's final battler for Dunbine, one enemy MA for Destiny, Rising Gundam for G Gundam, two enemies for Mazinkaiser and then the whole "Raideen end game" stuff with 4 units + Raideen itself...

There is a collab with Roze on some gacha called Summon Board coming out and alongside Ash, Roze and Sakura they're using the LS versions of L.L. and C.C. as well so I think odds are high SRW uses at least some of what LS is doing with those characters if they probably can't also stick in LS

The difference is that Gundam is a license actually owned by Bandai, while Red Ranger is a SquareEnix manga which leaves things more uncertain (although they have used SE licenses before). I hope that's what it means though.
