What do you mean? This is the actual /mlp/ board activity after the show ended and the dumpster fire that is G% making most of the board lose interest thanks to Hasbro's fuckups.

The background theme of the Nightmare Night episode's melody is a blatant copy of "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" from Nightmare Before Christmas. Listen to the very opening of the episode where they flash the title side by side with the song, and you can see it yourself.

I can't accept that Nightmare Moon was banished 1,000 years ago. I can't accept that after Luna was banished, ponies were still able to dream. I can't accept that Celestia defeated her the same night she transformed. I can't accept that NMM is the result of an external force, the Nightmare Forces, rather than Luna using her powers with no inhibitions. I can't accept that she didn't rule for several years while Celestia did everything she could, even letting her subjects suffer months of night, to find a way to save Luna, and the tragedy is that all Celestia needed to do was apologize and empathize. I can't accept that Celestia used the Elements of Harmony instead of her own power to defeat NMM.

I can't accept the entire foundational mythology of G4.

Not at all. It just doesn't make sense to me, but I've had this issue consistently. One of the reasons I can't take Japanese RPG stories seriously is because there is, invariably, something that happened 1,000 years ago.
