Drumming is not important anymore. Learn guitar and piano with full focus and become a god at those, a lil bit of bass here and there and make beautiful melody. Done. Now you are on your road to become a composer.
A drummer cannot compose a whole song, he opens his DAW and has no idea what to do next if he hasn't learned a true mainline instrument like guitar or piano.
