>>28980210 There are even better cases like the Sultan of Brunei who owns 7 THOUSAND cars, 99% of which were probably never even started by him

>men who are good at driving can't afford high end sports cars >men who can afford high end sports cars aren't good at driving Many such cases.
If you're the type of person who enjoys a fast paced adrenaline rich driving experience you're probably not going to have the patience to slog away climbing corporate ladders. So unless you're one of the few people who makes a fortune as a highly successful sportsman of some description (including motorsport), then you're probably not buying a porsche. Inversely, the type of man who is enthusiastically driven to climb corporate ladders is probably wholly committed to that world and probably has very little knowledge of automobiles.
>>28980204(OP) The vast majority of people buying Porsches have more money than they do talent, and often times they're not looking to put in the fastest lap of the day, but are just there to enjoy driving their fast car as fast as they're comfortably capable of. I don't begrudge them for attempting to enjoy some of what their car is capable of, but it's pretty damn awkward when I'm riding the ass of a GT3 RS in every corner, only for them to give me a wave by on the straight not realising that I'm bone fucking stock and can barely out-accelerate my own shadow in a straight line.

>>28980204(OP) In my experience, GT4 and GT3 Porsche drivers are really slow or extremely fast with no in between.
>>28980204(OP) >spend career focused on education and how to make money >never do sports or any meaningful activities or hobbies outside of work and school >be a good little goyim cattle and get your degree and good paying job >Sit at a desk for 20 years, >probably work some mid-upper management tier bullshit job. >never do anything interesting. Yes honey we'll renovate the house. Yes honey we can go for another vacation. Yes honey we can get you another bmw. >eventually have disposable income to buy a porsche because that's what you're supposed to do. >they get infatuated with the idea of being a racing driver to quell their midlife crisis divorce/ "I'm actually really boring and being a corporate cuck isn't really the meaning of life" phase. >suddenly end up on a track with a car way more capable than their soft girly little hands can manage or understand >OH MY GOD THIS CAR IS SO FAST >they're going 80 at best. >get absolutely fucking blown away by some 18 year old who zip tied a miata together in their garage because they're not a total corporate ass licker. I've been going to my local track since I was 10. I've met so many of these dudes. You gotta understand, most people who aren't rich have to REALLY like cars to end up at the track. they sacrifice almost everything. The guys who are rich buy a porsche as a hobby, same as you'd buy a pair of audiophile headphones or a paintball gun or a guitar to learn how to play. They are automotive tourists in this hobby.
What really pisses me off more than these guys, is the people who will sit there and celebrate the fact that they're "faster than a porsche" on their first lapping day despite the fact that they suck shit at driving. Go on any forum for fiesta sts or likewise and you'll see "LAPPED A PORSCHE" and everyone cheering them on like the retards they are.

Your pattern recognition skills are weak. Some of us get bored being patient and require some sort of external stimulation. 150+MPH on track does the trick. Weirdly enough, Sex does not offer enough stimulation.

>>28980247 Lol, some one gave me a wave by in traffic because I've got a loud ass exhaust on my miata and I was downshifting and they thought I was revving my engine.

>>28980297 >wowsers I can accelerate to 150mph!!!!!
Yeah but are you actually any good at braking and entering or are you one of those Porsche drivers OP's talking about who blasts away on every straight and then holds everyone up on corner entry?

>>28980255 The core buyer of the GT3 used to be people who outgrew the C2 variants and really needed the cage and fire extinguisher and cooling and wanted the aero and monoballs to actually go faster.
Now you have the allocations going to rich gags who are just buying what the car people think is cool without knowing why it’s cool. Pretty normal in a lot of hobbies .
Porsche should make GT3 buyers pass an exam that asks them to explain camber and wishbones and LSDs to make sure they’re not going to losers who would be just as happy in a C2

It’s in poor taste to criticize slow fags at a track imo. They may be just learning or slow but they’re self aware and respecting the track and their car and other peoples stuff.
Also, the PCA guys in the top and instructor level are not slow. They’re fucking nuts and very fast.
>>28980305 Yes, I'm good at braking and turning as well. My personal best is 2 seconds off the Trans Am 2 series race cars.
>>28980327 Being so slow you hold up others is a problem. Lotta fags are slow and have Zero awareness. The C8 Corvette guys being the main culprits. Those C8s have horrible top speeds and I always catch em and they won't budge cuz boomer pride. They don't like seeing a 1983 Camaro pass them

>have multi million networth >barely need to work so a lot of free time >decide to go to track days >go slow in the track >make some poor in a shitbox upset Not my problem
>>28980487 Cope for your pathetic lack of skills. Silver spoons should stay at the dining table, not the racetrack. You're blocking the real men from racing.
>>28980204(OP) >why is every porsche driver so slow All of us cannot attain your level, Misha. 1. 10 inch cock 2. Speak 5 languages 3. Talk shit while maneuvering through traffic at 150mph
>>28980250 tbf if she told me she had a cock I wouldn't be surprised, 'cause she's got one hell of an attitude. May god have mercy on the poor lad that ends up with that time bomb.
>>28980204(OP) they're usually old men since porsches have become insanely expensive. the rich gentleman drivers who drive in professional championships like gt world challenge or imsa are actually not that slow and are pretty decent
>>28980204(OP) >why is every porsche driver so slow because they bought the wrong car

>>28980316 >to make sure they’re not going to losers who would be just as happy in a C2 I know a guy that bought a GT3 (Touring) simply because he wanted a new Porsche with a naturally aspirated engine. Yes, he does not give a fuck about any kind of racing.
