>79 or older >exceptions made for body styles that originated before the cutoff but carried over into the 80s Well I have an '85 but its body style started in '80 and thats only 1 year past '79 so it's good right guys? Right?
Just kidding.
Watching a CHP chase in L.A. DUI suspect doing 100+ mph on the freeway. Last couple chases I've seen ended rather uneventfully but this guy is a little erratic so they might spike strip or pit maneuver his ass.

>>28981152 You can delete the image in OP but not the thread. Because that would delete other people's posts and only jannies can do that (for free!!). Might be able to delete if no replies have been made but we're written in stone now.

>>28981159 Well the '80 model could be purchased in December of '79 and my '85 is just like the '80....
>>28981188 CHP ia still controlled by superiors from the Reagan administration. They dont give a flying fuck about the current political climate of California.
>watching air cooled vw engine build video >get to cylinder head torque sequence >23ftlbs Wow, very light. I guess that makes sense considering the material.
>>28981157 >panther platform introduced in 1978 for the 1979 model year So a 2011 crown victoria technically belongs here right

>>28981690 And this is why the cutoff should be pre-74. Dont care how much of a following the panther has. Dont care if its a great platform. Dont care if it qualifies for "classic" registration (that can be revoked- which means its only recognized as a classic for tax revenue).
The pre-74 was changed up to 79 because of some faggot crybaby that wanted his '78 shitbox included. Vintage =/= Classic. Age does not a classic make. If it wasnt a classic 10 years ago then its not magically a classic now. Its not based on some rolling clock like smog and everybyear a new flavor gets added. Classic was an era. That era ended. The book was closed.
