It's fucked. You can moderate the pain by selling particular cars that don't attract a retard audience. For example, selling my E36 was a nightmare because of all the drifter fags and other undesirables from low income environs being drawn to it. However, my 83 Mercedes was fine bc some old white dude bought it, and my gf's golf was fine, bc I was just dealing with normal people looking for a daily.

i sold a 300 dollar parts car to a guy
ended up buying a 600 dollar parts car from him a year later.
he was trying to build a coyote foxbody and was hoarding cars to do it.
he had my fucked up 85 salvage title race car I got off some hillbillies, had two capris and a notchback.
his wife lightpoled the side kf his s550 which was the donor.
I kinda wish I didn't sell him the 85 because I am slightly less scared of back-halfing and tubularing the strut tower forward which is what it needed as the hillbilllies just slung a front cap over a wrecked car.

I used to work at a dealership selling cars, so yeah it was all I did all day. Can't imagine putting up with that bullshit without a base salary

I'm about to sell my 3rd gen WRX and I'm dreading it
I'd love nothing more than to just trade it in but I'd like to get some sort of value out of it as a dealership would offer me a used tissue for it and I've seen examples with spun bearings or blown headgaskets get at least a little bit more than that and while mines very well uses it doesn't have either of those issues
