ID:hJGZgPK506/11/26(Thu)20:09:42Let's get one thing straight:
Religion is metaphorical, it is a collection of traditions, symbols and conventional wisdom. Angles aren't real. Jesus didn't literally do magic, he didn't literally resurrect, there was no Noah's Ark. Greek Gods and Santa Clause aren't real either btw. That doesn't mean you can't celebrate Christmas.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Or they are.
Can’t prove it either way.
If you intend to be pragmatic about the issue, you have to concede that the issue cannot really be settled.
Someone saying this can’t happen doesn’t amount to any more proof than someone saying it did.
The skeptics argument says that miracles are impossible so they can’t happen.
But that’s essentially the same argument as the faithful inverted- that something impossible happened so it was a miracle.

>I've come to believe that gnosticism is the inevitable endpoint of increasingly radical protestantism
It was always the truth. That's why it was suppressed.

Put on the armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil (wrestle against abstract and wickedness in high places)
- Ephesians 6:11-18
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Philosophy reaches a dead end with solipsism. You'll have to use your own eyes and brain and decide if Moses' story sounds retarded to you, as a literal account of events.

I’ll likely be mocked for saying this, but I’ve actually witnessed a miracle.
I don’t really have the luxury of choosing what I believe.
I saw God’s glory. I saw the light- the hallelujah moment.
Not only was it real, it was the most real thing I’ve ever experienced.
So throw my claim in the pile with all the others and believe it or don’t.

Mantheo's Aegyptiaca is the story of Moses. Moses' real name was Osarseph. He was one of the Hyksos.

The story of Moses is almost exactly what is going on today. America is being ruled by foreign agents (Jews).

As long as you don't believe that he threw a staff on the ground and it turned into a snake it's good by me.
