With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices.
You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. But what will you do when the threats aren't always physical, when you can't simply punch all your problems away?

After an encounter with the end and learning a bit of Time Patroller education, Karn was challenged by none other than Goku himself. Accepting the challenge, Karn and Goku gave it their all fighting one another. Goku absorbing a Spirit Bomb and taking on the same form Chaya had against Jiren, while Karn learned he was still holding back, unleashing a frigid power called Lifehunt locked away within the Berserker Soul's core. The fight ends in a draw as it's stopped, before the battle could destroy all of Conton City then Karn learns the truth of this new power and its name from Fu before returning home. And as we rejoin Karn, you're standing in the hall of your home, Meloka, Towa, and Haathe are all embracing you, warming you up from that power as Maza has appeared.
“Sorry to interrupt, Father, but you're needed.” your eldest half-demon son says. His tone's crisp, calm and professional. But you can see something in his eyes, something uneasy. “It's the Jiralhanae. Their chief said he needs to speak with you, and only you.” “Did he say about what?” you reply, Maza's expression growing more serious. “Yes, Father. They said they're leaving.” he says, you blinking in response. Confused. Leaving? Just like that? “But that he, Chieftan Tiveus Rivelus needs to talk with you first.”

Leaving your ship behind, heading over to the city. Entering the administrative building, you see the Chieftan of the Jiralhanae, Tiveus Rivelus. “General Karn.” he says as he sees you, nodding once. “Thank you for coming.” “Of course, Chieftan Tiveus.” you reply, then without hesitation get down to business. “Maza tells me you're planning on leaving?”
“Yes, general.” he answers with a nod. “My people, we have been running numbers. Both on the shipments of materials being brought in, how quickly our peoples are expanding, and what is sustainable. And, by our projections, within the next five years, our two peoples will be competing for space. That there will be fighting over resources, territory, and interpersonal conflicts due to proximity. So. To avoid turning our peoples against one another, to keep the peace between our kind, it is time. Time for my people to move on, to have a world we can truly call our own.” “I see. You seem to have given this quite some thought.” you reply to him non-noncommittally, hand going to your chin. “So, do you have a world already lined up, have you gotten your planet selected yet? Or will you need to speak with Lord Cooler, to set up a planet for your people to live on?”
“No, general. That... That is part of why I have approached you.” he says, meeting your gaze levelly. “I... I need your help. I have not faced Lord Cooler, do not know how he is or if he'd even care about my people's imminent plight.” “I see. So, you wish for me to help you make your case to the emperor?” you say, Tiveus nodding once. Tiveus needs your help, for his people's sake.

What's going on?” he asks, you feeling his sudden flash of both worry and annoyance. “What's happening now?” “It's about Chieftan Tiveus, leader of the Jiralhanae.” you tell him, letting him know what Tiveus told you. About his predictions and the numbers he ran, how his people need their own world soon. Cooler listens to you quietly, then as you finish he doesn't immediately answer. And, right as you're wondering if he's even going to answer, suddenly he APPEARS. You sense his ki a split-second before he arrives, teleporting there between you both with Instant Transmission. “Lord Cooler.”
“L-Lord Cooler!?” Tiveus says, eyes wide. Dropping down to a knee, bowing to him. “Tiveus, right?” he asks, not addressing you, but Tiveus. “Rise, Jiralhanae leader. Show me.” “L-Lord Cooler?” Tiveus asks, looking confused. Only for Cooler to look back, slightly annoyed. “Karn told me you had numbers. Show them to me.” Cooler orders him. “Show me these projections, the figures.”
“O-Of course, my lord. Right this way!” he says, turning to the door. Stopping a moment, turning to you and bowing his head. “General.” “Chieftan.” you reply, meeting his head nod with one of your own. Watching him and Cooler head out, no doubt back to his city where his people are waiting for his return with an answer.

“Right behind you.” you reply to him, and for the next hour or so the two of you, along with your city's administrative team, handle the less glamorous, day-to-day operations of running a city. Sending out the orders of supplies, signing repair orders as well as going over the plans for the city's expansion project. To open up more space for people to live, as more and more Saiyans are hopefully born. And once you finish the paperwork and approvals for the day, you step back out of the building into the early morning sun. Leaving you with the whole day ahead of you, and one question on your mind:

>>6424259 And as soon as you have the thought, question yourself, one answer immediately comes to mind. Your wife's words from earlier, “Don't spend too long, hun. I might need your help later with something.” ring in your head. So, without hesitation you turn back towards home, expanding your ki sense. Only to stop after a few steps, not feeling her energy in that direction. Expanding your ki sense, you find her ki signature off in the forest, out past the arena.
“Hmm?” you vocalize, curious. Lifting up into the air you start flying her way, wondering what sort of training she's doing. Flying over your city, you then reach the edge of the forest. Flying through the trees, quickly approaching her and finding your wife in a clearing. Where, to your surprise see her evading for her life. The clearing's set up with hundreds of her Warding Eyes, filling the entire clearing. And as you watch, she's flipping and weaving through the air. It taking you a couple seconds to realize why, only to finally see what the source is. There's around a dozen small orbs of ki, each one the size of your wife's head. Reflecting off each of her Warding Eyes back at her, forcing her onto the defensive. Weaving through the ricocheting attacks with flawless precision, only for you to see she's doing this with her eyes closed! Focused completely, dodging them all with perfect movements.
“Is that...?” you ask yourself, wondering if she's doing it. If she's trying to tap into that same power you've seen Ace and Goku use, Ultra Instinct? However, as you watch, you realize that's not it. Focusing on her energy, you feel her ki's spread across the clearing. Using her Energy Shell technique to have perfect awareness of her surroundings, being completely aware of each of the attacks in this space. Even as the attacks bounce and ricochet around, as you watch she then pulls another four of the orbs into rotation too. Now dodging sixteen of her Warding Eyes, moving faster and faster. And as she dodges, you have an idea. You wait until she's pulling the next bunch of orbs into her dodging, nnow up to twenty individually-moving orbs before you raise your hand, and fire another. Adding one of your own to the mix, watching your orb rocket towards her. Only for your wife to smirk.

Instead, as she flips and spins around the others, she catches your orb! Continuing her flip, spinning and launching it back at you. But not just your own energy, as you can feel she's added her own to yours too! Enhancing the orb, further empowering it as she continues flipping, spinning and rolling around her own attacks. You hold out a hand, ready to catch the attack back. But then you realize that whatever she added to it will probably keep you from returning it.
So, with a thought you gather energy for a second blast, launching it at the first. Your two energies meet, causing both to detonate in a fiery blast. And as the smoke clears, you see the orbs have stilled. Your wife standing in the clearing, her breathing still calm and controlled.
“So, did you get everything finished up?” your wife asks, smiling softly. “Yeah. Called Cooler down, they're going over his numbers.” you reply to her, stepping into the clearing. “So, is this what you need my help with, huh?” “Not quite. It is my training, but not this training.” she replies, clenching her fists. And with a flash, Meloka ascends to her form beyond Blue. “I need you to give me everything you've got.”

I just wanna say for the record I do find it quite funny that when Meloka asks us for help, it's almost invariably a 50/50 between "Knock my teeth out." and "Blow my back out.". Never change Meloka.

Ascending even further, taking on the icy power of Supreme Instinct. As you do, you can fee the true depth of your power lurking just beneath the surface, the true power of Lifehunt. But you don't tap into that, leaving that newly discovered, dangerous depth to your power. Sighing out, you open your eyes, meeting her own. “Everything I've got.”
She nods, taking her fighting stance. You take your own, your body then moving on its own. Closing the distance instantly, your fist slamming into her chest and launching her back.
“Khhh!?” she exhales, flipping back once but your body's already moving. Closing back in, your wife trying to gather her energy for something. But before she can shape it, much less fire it you've closed back in. Landing a powerful combination of a left jab into a right shovel hook to her jaw, clockwise spinning left back kick to her guts, and finishing it with a left uppercut to her jaw, launching her into the air. “Kaaaaah!”
Giving her a moment, you take the Senzu Bean, still in your left hand and tuck it into your right bracer before launching yourself back up at her. Your wife, having recomposed once again, tries to close the gap in your powers.
“KAIO-KEN!” she roars, her strength increasing tenfold then meeting your right with one of her own. The force of your colliding punches unleashes a shock wave that slams into the forest around you both, you following up the right with a left overhand, a right shovel hook into right thrusting elbow then a left hammer fist. All of which your wife blocks, but she's still clearly overwhelmed. Unable to fire back, to try and retake the momentum. Instead, she's shelling up, trying to withstand your onslaught. But you're an expert at breaking through defenses. And with only a few hits, forcing her guard high then landing a left uppercut on her crossed arms, blasting her guard apart. And before she can recover you spin, firing a clockwise spinning right back kick to her chest. Then spinning your body clockwise, twisting and following with a turning left to her head that sends her flying.

The bark cracks, your wife's body getting embedded in the tree's trunk. And, as she doesn't immediately break free, you feel your body drift down. Landing in the clearing, looking at her curiously.
“You okay, hun?” you ask her, watching your wife carefully. She's panting hard, her power having dropped down to a tenth when you'd blasted her into the tree as her Kaio-Ken dropped. “Gaaaaaah!?” she suddenly gasps, regaining her breath. Having clearly had the wind knocked out of her, gasping for breath. “Haaaaah, haaa, haaah.” “Mel? You okay?” you ask her as she quickly regains her breath, pulling herself out of the tree, landing down on a knee. Trembling slightly as she pushes herself back up to her feet, staggering a half-step before planting her feet.
“Haaah. Good. C'mon, I'm not done.” she says, clenching her fists and powering up once more. Aura blazing, Kaio-Ken blazing back to life. But she doesn't stop there, gritting her teeth as she continues powering up. Her Kaio-Ken power doubling further, her strength surging to the strongest you've felt. “Times! TWENTY!!”
The very air in the clearing is dyed red from her Kaio-Ken, her power blazing wildly as she's powered up to her current maximum. Your body retaking its fighting stance, Meloka doing the same herself. The two of you staring one another down.

>>6424380 As you stare your wife down, suddenly an idea comes to mind. You crouch a bit lower, as if you're going to dash in and she immediately brings her arms up, to guard. But you don't launch yourself at her, instead you kick straight up into the air. Gathering your energy in both hands, then toss your energy down on her in a pair of Scattershots. Meloka, seeing what's about to happen activates her Barrier before the first blasts land. However, while the smoke from the first volley obscures her sight, and before the second lands you continue gathering your energy. Forming your Energy Javelin, and launching it down as well. The piercing lance is far faster than the Scattershot, so as the second wave of Scattershot bullets is exploding on her Barrier and around her, the lance flies true. The infinitely sharp point piercing through her Barrier with ease. Your energy doesn't pierce far enough in to hit her, but as it pierces the shield it begins to glow, then detonate. Forcing your wife to drop her Barrier and leap away, else she'd be trapped inside the blast by her own Barrier.
“Tch!” she exhales, but you don't relent with your ranged attacks. Leveling both hands, you unleash your Scatter Beams from all ten fingers, as well as your Guided Eye Beams from your eyes. Seeing them approach your wife fires back, meeting your power with her own. All twelve of your beams striking twelve of her own, all of them detonating in a massive, obscuring blast. Your body then drops instinctively to the ground as you were gathering your energy in both hands, only for a score of her Ki Needles to slice through the air around where you'd been less than a second ago. Shaping your ki into a massive Energy Javelin, you focus it and launch the attack at her as the smoke clears. She turns, seeing the javelin coming up. But, clenching your fist you split it, the one massive one splitting into hundreds of smaller ones!
Meloka's eyes widen, your wife drawing her Dual Ki Blades and immediately starts to cut through the ones that get too close to her. The rest of your smaller, split-off spears flying off into the sky as you continue gathering your energy. Your wife shouting down to you as she's cutting your attack apart.
“Trying to fight me with my own style, huh? Think you can do it better than me?” she shouts, then as your Scatter Javelin ends unleashes her power. “HRRYAAA!”
And your wife begins to retaliate with her own energy, conjuring somewhere between a score and a hundred Warding Eyes around her with a snap.

Forcing you onto the defensive, letting your body move instinctually to evade them as you focus on your energy. Gathering your energy, readying your next attack. Only for your wife to bring her hands up, pressing the palms together in front of her chest. And as you watch, two sets of eleven Warding Eyes coalesce together, your wife somehow reshaping them into copies of HERSELF!
“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, genuinely surprised at this new technique. And as you watch, both copies clench their fists as well, auras identical to Meloka's blaze up around them. Their energy feeling perfectly identical to your wife's, which make sense as they're her. But significantly weaker, as they're nowhere near as powerful as her. However, what they CAN do is start commanding the Warding Eyes, unleashing their various types of attacks simultaneously. Wielding far more attacks than your wife ever has, forcing you completely on the defensive. Thousands of beams and blasts rain down, your body evading instinctually. Weaving through the rain of thousands of beams, blasts and orbs. Unable to fight back, to even have time to gather enough energy to fight back with a ranged attack. And as you evade the overwhelming offensive, you see your wife's focused on making more and more Warding Eyes. Giving her copies more and more ammunition to keep up the overwhelming offense. Her rain of attacks increases until even your Supreme Instinct can't keep up, taking several of her Ki Needles to your left leg, a beam to your right shoulder, and a solid Warding Eye straight to the chest. “Khhh!”
