I'm surprised the mando Snowtrooper comes with the classic helmet with mouth cover. I might actually get this then because I can't resist dirty troopers.
But what the hell is going on with the kama? Is this ai slop? It's a plastic piece, no way it can move like that...
Literally the worst batch of reveals in a while. Glad Flopalorian is going to ruin the franchise again.

>>11798723 These are the best reveals ever! I loved Mandalorian and Grogu, it's perfect like all Disney Star Wars! You must love the yucky conservative Old Trilogy with its lack of feminism and diversity! Thank science that Disney finally made Star Wars progressive and anti-white!

>>11798675 Wait a tick. Is that supposed to be the EU Battle Droid turned farmer? The one Rebel Moon ripped off? Sorry I don't follow SW like I used to.
>>11798771 How come there are even characters left to make as a toy? Shouldn't at this point every third string extra have at least 3 toys?

>>11798762 Vintage. I know the "shills!" Faggit will get triggered, but I actually like this wave, because I've been pining for that sand trooper from the three pack, and now I don't NEED to get the other two! Green twilek can work as a generic alien girl. I always love droids Alien bounty hunter looking dude seems cool, too!

>>11798695 >>11798713 I don't think you guys know how this kind of plastic works. Also the shape looks completely different in those pictures.
>>11798762 I get both but neither as much as I used to.
>>11798788 If Hasbro knew how to use AI, we would get better figures.

>>11798762 i would love to just go all in on 3.75 but tbs has released more figures that i care about in the last ~7 years than tvc has although i usually just get the ones i care about, which mostly comprise of jedi, sith, ayys, and droids

>>11798791 >t. I need to shift the focus away from my tremendous blunder by pointing out that you do own toys, and that is somehow a bad thing to do

Anonymous05/26/26(Tue)20:37:48
>>11798675 >black series got the b1 droid guy I was hoping tvc would get em, looks cool with the cloak and mask/helmet >no soft goods fot the b2's cloak They're going to wait for a deluxe multipack to double dip arent they?

>>11798687 I'm torn. I like Snowtroopers, and there are three mask options so that's great, but, man, I hate Black Series' articulation scheme.

Anonymous05/26/26(Tue)21:35:42
>>11798762 I went to Black Series when the 3.75" started becoming 5POA. Then around 2022 I began buying TVC because the articulation was finally good enough and I was splitting my budget between the two lines pretty equally. Now I'm pretty much just TVC because BS kept raising prices and removing articulation without really giving much in terms of value. Plus TVC is a lot more fun with all the creatures, playsets, and vehicles.

>>11798687 I actually don't have any Snowtroopers somehow, Imissed grabbing them during the ESB anniversary, so I'll grab one of this guy. I won't lie, the fact that you can mix and match helmets is really tempting to grab a second one as well.

>>11798863 Yeah, no one with a better articulation set-up is gonna do a snowtrooper, and if they did they sure as hell wouldn't be at an armybuilder price. I may be able to wring some more range out of them, it works with Classified, it may be doable here.

>>11798829 >>11798862 >>11798879 >>11798914 >>11798923 Man, I LOVE how people insist that THIS is the TRUE thread instead of the other thread people cried out for. /TOY/ is dying faster than Star Wars!

>>11798672(OP) Mission Vao, the most developed 14 year old in the galaxy, with giant orangutan arms
>>11798687 >>11798690 >>11798713 Snowtrooper one looks very strange, there's folds and creases in the crouching kama that aren't in the standing pose. It almost looks like two swappable pieces.
I've had two snowtroopers from black series and weirdly, one was thick and very solid kama that basically made him into a standee instead of an action figure and the other was a soft and supple plastic that would easily open up for any kind of pose.
00
Anonymous05/26/26(Tue)22:32:31
>>11798687 What would be the ideal material for a soft goods snowtrooper kama anyways? I've seen them with both a fabric texture and a synthetic texture. Does it vary by rank? I've never had a good eye for costume detail.

>>11798944 Okay! But the echo isn't as big as the one from your mom's box >>11798945 Yep. It's funny too, you see them desperately leaking "suggestions" to see how the public reacts. Those youtube retards served as "useful idiots" when they had proxies reach out to them and "leak" "plans" to "reboot" the sequels just to do market research and see what the community actually thinks of the idea. In the long run, I simply don't fucking care. You had ONE CHANCE to bring back Hamill, Fisher & Ford, you don't get a "do-over" from me, I'll wait for the fans to do an AI fan film instead.

>>11798673 Repacking that sandtrooper is so retarded. The backpack is oversized, the belt is wrong, the weathering paint apps are terrible, and we know they can do better because of the remnant stormies have much better weathering. And they still did not update the hips.

Anonymous05/27/26(Wed)00:45:41
>>11799102 The whole lineup is retarded. There's nothing good or unique there.

I must be going insane, was there a teased SH Figuarts Bossk figure? I swear I remember one from a wonderfest.
>>11799145 Sorry, beloved characters are no longer allowed because they have to pay George Lucas whenever they use them, please enjoy figures based on DEI approved characters like Reva and Holdo! The Force is female!
>>11799159 >beloved characters are no longer allowed because they have to pay George Lucas whenever they use them This is the dumbest thing I see parroted aside from Disney will never use PT era content to appeal to fans

>>11799235 Disney has to use Prequel stuff now. They fucked their shit up entirely. Hell, Groglett is a box office bomb now.
00
Anonymous05/27/26(Wed)03:06:38
>>11799235 I'm also a big fan of all the "they got rid of the EU so they wouldn't have to pay the authors!" folks not noticing that the EU books are still being published
>“The Mandalorian and Grogu” has turned up with one of the lowest numbers in the Star Wars franchise’s history on the weekend of its opening at the box office. This major flop has raised a big question of how poorly things are going for Disney, and many cannot look the other way.

>>11799238 They are. They just have the legends banner.
00
Anonymous05/27/26(Wed)03:11:51
>>11799237 The best part of that is that in the announcement that the EU was ending they literally stated they were still going to keep publishing the books with the Legends label, so the people who came up with this conspiracy theory didn't even bother to read the initial announcement and just assumed bookstores were going to burn all non-Disney or something
