>>11816347(OP) Is the "ACKS No.MP-01 Patlabor 1/43 AV-98 Ingram Type 1 + Type 98 Special Command Vehicle Set Plastic Model" a good purchase / pre-order? I've always wanted an AV-98 but could never make up my mind about which one since there are so many of them by now. Is there one that is more accurate to the actual design?
I've been too cautious in the past and end missing up on pre-orders, but I also don't like dealing with buyers' remorse, nor like having more than one item per character / mecha. Basically I'm looking for an excuse to not jump the gun and pre-order it, specially since I've cancelled one too many orders lately and might be getting close to an unfavourable standing at AmiAmi (and it's hard to cancel at HobbySearch).

>>11818432 I like that their argument is "the author doesn't get royalties" as if bandai not releasing them gets him any royalties. Tree falling in the forest.
not really a gunpla person but this caught my interest. Are there any other vehicles or sets like it? also if I put a zaku on it will the gundam police get me?

>>11818723 There's a couple for Kyokai Senki, a ground carrier and a VTOL.
>>11818723 There's also a carrier truck from another non-gundam show https://bandai-hobby.net/item/01_3691/ >also if I put a zaku on it will the gundam police get me? No worries as long as you don't put their competitor's toys on it...

>>11818743 >>11818745 Neat, I love utilitarian, chunky functional vehicles. I also just found out there was a whole line for little simple kits (30 minute missions apparently) so I might get the truck and a mech/vehicle to go with it (rather than just slap whatever transformer I have on it that fits) Thanks anons

Are there any good sites, outside of cgtrader and cults3d, that has or sells conversion kits, detail parts, etc for 3d printing?

>>11818432 Didn't the actual artist get kind of annoyed too?
>>11818867 Not gonna lie, i would be annoyed too if i was the artist, but also i would be even more annoyed at bandai for releasing a fuckload of bearguys and not give my acguy a shot.
>>11818945 You can find a lot of things like that on Aliexpress because most of them are from China anyway. That's also where I buy third party kits because they sell them for pretty much nothing too. I'd use a burner email though, the spam is the worst.

Is RG Zaku II as much of a pain in the ass to build? I don't even care about gundam but i just kinda want a zaku.

>>11819305 I know the pipe segments suck, there's a few bits that like to pop off, and if you pose it a lot the joints will get floppy because it's an early RG with a full pre-molded frame.

>>11819545 >https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0G2Q5B7BX/ pretty sure DHL can reach "The West" in a day or two lol
Not sure if this or the star wars thread is the right one, but i'm still new to kits. About this gap here, is this when i should disassemble it and sand down the pegs? Or maybe glue is the solution?
