Women in Malaysia are pretty well known to be closed off or scammy. The amount of things to do run out pretty quick Beer is expensive due to mostly muslim The serving sizes of food, while amazing looking, are retardedly small The history of malaysia is pretty meh just "yeah so british ruled here for a while and left... I think ww2 happened" The party vibe you get in thailand, singapore, vietnam, HK, just straight up isn't there or is insanely expensive.
Overall if you don't drink, just like seeing jungle shit, some cool new buildings, and want to be fucking cheap stays go for it. Enjoy WHOOOO IS ALLLLLLAH in the morning make sure not to book right next to that shit as it gets annoying, fast. It's the perfect place for a gap in tourist visa resetting

>>2876169(OP) It sucks. The women are ugly and act like cunts. It's a muslim country so they have rules for goyim, eg in the supermarket they sell cheap rice but only to malaysians, the metro costs $12 a month to malaysians but foreigners get screwed, foreigners have to pay a nightly tax on every hotel/hostel etc No malaysian person will ever give a shit about you, the other expats here seem to be heavily compromising by being here. No one cares who you are or where you're from, there's basically four groups of people and they're completely hierarchical in this order: malays, chinese malaysians, jeet malaysians, and foreigners.

Not much to it really. The food scene is really good (I mean legitimately good), but otherwise its pretty mediocre. One of the primary issues I had with malaysia and Kuala lumpur in particular were Indians being everywhere. They are basically the labor caste, but I still dont want to see them all the time.
Having Indians around is like a bad smell in your house you cannot quite pinpoint and get a whiff of randomly through the day, disrupting your peace.

I spent a week in Malaysia.
Pros: > Cheap > Everyone speaks English > Extremely safe > Decent infrastructure (leftover from british) > Best food on earth (combined the best parts of Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisines) > Night markets (run by the chinese minority) are as good, if not better, than the ones in Taiwan.
Cons: > Utterly BORING > Islamic laws mean nothing interesting ever happens > No culture of excellence. There is nothing terrible but also nothing amazing. Very typical of Muslim societies, it's a side side effect of the belief in qadar (predestination) > The country was handed a golden platter of a plentiful resources + great legal system + infrastructure when the British left. But they squandered it though incompetence and corruption. > Innovation and business development is done by the successful chinese minority, but the chinese are heavily discriminated against by law (school, jobs, government grants). It's actually quite sad.
Malaysia is absolutely perfect if you want a cheap, safe, family friendly vacation with your wife and kids. But very boring if you like anything interesting. Thailand / Vietnam are much better for that.
The best, and easiest way to visit Malaysia is by going to Singapore and doing a day-trip to Johor. That's more than enough to see the country, you might get bored of the country after a few hours (like I did).

Anonymous04/17/26(Fri)10:02:33
I'm very convinced everyone here is only visiting Johor and Kuala Lumpur's downtown area for 2 days then leaving. It's like visiting Shenzhen and saying China has nothing to do, or visiting Switzerland and only going to Geneva.
>>2876250 >Innovation and business development is done by the successful chinese minority, but the chinese are heavily discriminated against by law (school, jobs, government grants). It's actually quite sad. most of the chinese here are racist schizos and dont care about it or know about it. they are happy patriotcattle and all their social medias are blocked from talking about or criticizing it so they are none the wiser. they have a civnat mentality where a brown malay or malaysian jeet is viewed as the in group while they hate their own blood brothers from china with a passion. and the chinese were undeservedly gifted all of the capital when the british fucked off, they didnt rise to the top by merit. most of the chinese malaysians are dysgenic af compared to mainlanders or taiwan

Malaysia elicits a lot of hatred from degenerate Zionist-coded shills for the simple fact that the country does not recognize the existence of Israel. Malaysia is also one of very few countries who refused to sign a declaration condemning racism. Ethnic and cultural segregation is the norm in Malaysia. This also makes shills butthurt.
The truth is that Malaysia is full of beautiful pleasant experiences for those willing to explore the country. Public transport between towns in Malaysia is affordable and comfortable, but if you really want to see the natural beauty, waterfalls and caves and rainforest treks, you need to arrange private transport.
Dining culture varies hugely across the country. Food prices are significantly higher than in Thailand. Anons who complain about small portions are eating at 5 minute fastfood slop joints in the big city. Ingredient quality at such places is also low. They are intended for the working class. Leisure dining - i.e. the really good food - is an evening and nighttime pastime in Malaysia, so save your appetite for after dark. And be prepared to pay $5 or more for your meal. Don't think you're gonna enjoy an amazing plate of food for $2.50. If you're new to the cuisine, you'll think it tastes good, but once you try the really good stuff, it's tough to go back to mee goreng tier slop.

I know some fags here love it, especially the country, but all you will see is pale imitations of british culture and chinese moving in non-stop. No they didn't move there 2000 years ago they are the ones actively fleeing.

>>2876312 My last Malaysia trip was really enjoyable. I blogposted about every town I visited on r/Malaysia and got hellacious updoots. Can't wait for the new railway from Kota Bahru to Kuantan to be completed. Terengganu is an extremely beautiful state, but it has the worst public transport in the peninsula, which makes it a hassle to visit. It's also one of two peninsular states (the other being Kelantan) where it's almost impossible to find beer. >>2876394 All of this sounds like a skill issue. I met intelligent people in Kuala Lumpur. My rooms all had powerful silent A/C units. If I wanted to get stuffed, I'd go to a dhaba style eatery run by a 250 pound Muslim guy and he'd serve me a giant plate of mutton curry - full of big tender chunks of sheep - with biryani rice for $5. Double burgers cost $2 and are sold on the street late in the evening all over the country. Each one is about 4 oz of beef. Human skeletons my ass. Malaysia is full of beefy fat Muslim guys who stuff themselves with meat on a regular basis. Stop going to the Chinese food courts. Chinese are much more racist toward whites than Malays are. Of course they're going to give you three fishballs and two tiny scraps of pork when the regulars get eight fishballs and six pieces of pork in their noodle soup. >>2876418 Sparrows hopping all over the food prep counter is common in lower-class restaurants in Thailand and Malaysia. What can anyone do about it? The rats and roaches are sewer dwellers. Usually you see them when they are making a connection from one drain to another. Their presence has no bearing on food quality. >it's literally india lite You clearly haven't been to India. Only a few Malaysian cities even come close to the impatient aggressive driving behavior that is universal in India. Malaysian urban development is much more uniform than India, which varies hugely from one block to another. Malaysia's roads are also in excellent condition compared to India's roads.

>>2876454 All of the coastal towns of Terengganu were quite pleasant. Besut was a shithole, but it's the departure point for the Perhentian islands. Marang is a hub for boaters. It's incredible how many boats go in and out of that harbor every day. The islands off the east coast are reportedly amazing, but they are some of the priciest places to visit in Malaysia. Taking a boat out on Kenyir Lake and doing some rainforest camping also sounds like a helluva time.

>>2876637 >The islands off the east coast are reportedly amazing, but they are some of the priciest places to visit in Malaysia. Malaysia's islands (on both sides of the peninsula) are some of the most attractive places in the whole country and there are some good events on the islands. Pavarotti stayed on Pangkor Laut island (little island next to the main Pangkor island, off the west coast of Perak state) years ago and since then they have had "opera in paradise" events every year. I have been to Pangkor but not to Pangkor Laut so I might go myself this year. Yes it is pricy.
>>2876443 >If I wanted to get stuffed, I'd go to a dhaba style eatery run by a 250 pound Muslim guy and he'd serve me a giant plate of mutton curry - full of big tender chunks of sheep - with biryani rice for $5 Ah yes where birds regularly shit into the food, rats run around just out of site, and your 'filling" meal is 99% due to the naan bread given. Yes anon I can get "full" on a bowl of tomato soup and loaf of bread. Yeah alright now break down the protein and nutrient to balance out your diet for a day of walking and gym. Also not sure where you are going most those meals are now 20RM minimum for the base plate at places like that which is going to be 50% rice, unless you're on the real outskirts where good luck not getting had as a white guy.
>You clearly haven't been to India This board has to have paid malay shills making 5rm a post, hey dumbfuk that's why I said it was india LITE. India has some nice places if you're willing to go find them where the cops will beat anyone begging senseless, same as Malaysia. It's still overall insanely dirty, filled with insane homeless, shit everywhere, open sewage, smog hell, low quality living.
The main benefit Malaysia has for it is that it's english speaking, cheap as shit, and easy enough to get around. It faulters on basically every other level of interest to anyone willing to throw down cash. As stated by other anons, it's GOAT if you need to visa reset and don't care about gooning while not breaking the bank.
>>2876680 >no you're the shill! Yet you're the one who keeps smearing Malaysia with ridiculous claims. No there is not going to be any birdshit in your food. Outside of the KL slums, dishes are always kept covered. Yes it is easy to eat large quantities of meat or fish for $4-6 USD. Yes it is normal to get served more rice than you want to eat and leave some on your plate. No, Malaysia is nowhere near as dirty as you make it out to be. Picrel is what the drainage ditches look like in one of India's best-developed cities. No Malaysian river is this contaminated with rubbish. You need to get around more. You'll find more filth and strewn rubbish in Bakersfield California than you will find in Ipoh Malaysia.
This is a random street in Kota Bahru, one of the poorest cities in Malaysia. Notice how it looks nothing at all like its Indian equivalent. Even the best Indian cities look worse than this.

Now of course that doesn't mean other countries are not much more appealing to visit than Malaysia. But any attempt to call Malaysia a dirty shithole is categorically disingenuous. In fact, you only notice the design and maintenance flaws because the country as a whole is so well-kept and clean. In other tropical Asian countries, the well-developed areas are the exception, not the rule.
LMAO it's actually the Malay shill, dude must been tricked that is qadar was to defend Malay online. It's india lite because Every Malays stinks something fierce when walking around, you notice this as an outsider Conversations with local everyday malay are akin to speaking with some dub 85 IQ indian The amount of techsupport(scams) running in the country and that use singapore proxies are fucking insane only challenged by africa or India The infrastructure built by the english is crumbling and Malay are too fucking stupid to figure out what to do, this leads to the king sucking Xi's cock for some Wild new project idea that does nothing to help the poverty piling up everywhere Any day that's hot you'll almost always have a fun smell of sewage seeping up from the side of the barely covered roads Good luck finding any water to dip your feet in or sit by that isn't full of things that would kill you Can't flush tolietpaper tier country Food quality control is nonexistent, again those "hekkin cheap" restoran's often have huge bug, rat, birdshit problems but I guess it's kino because you can tell instagrammers please like and racist if not Women are dogshit to even talk with on a platonic sense The reason for revisitation is basically at 0 because the people there can't make anything interesting

I could literally post a street in Detriot or some hood and go "see look the road is clean the houses look pretty clean" but if you've been you know it's not.
Again, this is a turdworlder argument who doesn't understand what being clean is because they've never been around it.
