/trv/ almost made me miss Singapore but I fucking love it here. I can't imagine not experiencing this place. Fuck you. Fuck you to hell.
And to those browsing /trv/ DON'T SKIP SINGAPORE. It's my third month straight travelling in SE Asia and wow... what a fucking mistake it would be to miss it.
It's not boring, it's expensive yes, but it's inspiring this whole fucking country is inspiring.
If you have questions on what to do let me know and I will help you. I'm sobbing about if I missed this place and now I just want to help others know it's good to come here.

>>2888088(OP) >thinly veiled shilling thread or you're a genuine cityfag that's never been to an asian megacity
there is literally nothing really unique about Singapore yeah good food, city looks good at time, some okayish trails, lots of consoooomer stuff but no culture, no soul, nothing
it's really one of the most boring cities in the region
still worth a 2-3day stopover not much more

It's fine for 2 maybe 3 weeks you can basically see everything, most the hate it gets is the expensive part that NEETS get mad about. If you don't have money or a profession, barring crypto millionare, women will wonder what's wrong with you. They are very much western standards looking at you and don't care if you work a 45k/yr job remotely and brokefagmax.
> I'm sobbing about if I missed this place and now I just want to help others know it's good to come here. It's not that great, I go once a year for 2 weeks for some events+work. The best thing about Singapore for normies is that you can realistically say you've seen everything the country has to offer in 1 simple visit.
>>2888090 This isn't a shill thread this is some deranged anon who keeps posting how bad singapore is trying to false flag

I love Singapore because it's inspiring and really cool to see a national identity and so new find itself so wonderfully. The city is pleasent and has a lot more to do than I expected.

Singapore is a retarded muslim and jeet infested shithole. Dont let the LEDs fool you. Its a city built on indian slavery which is disgusting because I dont want to see fucking indians everywhere.
All of these "indian servant" countries are nasty as hell.
Also everything is way too expensive and the women are all way too gassed up by nepo baby simps with daddy money.

>>2888088(OP) It's basically Chinese Dubai. Shopping malls and a dictatorship, plus maybe a few nice attractions if you like highly artificial environments.
I enjoyed Jurong Bird Park when I was there. That said, some of the bird are kept in pretty shitty conditions (two bald eagles in a cage the size of my bedroom, for example -- can't do more than flap a couple of times and maybe drift from their perch to the floor).

>>2888138 LOL. When I went to Singapore, I had to switch hotels twice, the first one because it turned out to be full of noisy assholes bringing in hookers to fuck, and the second because of construction noise right outside my window the whole fucking day.
So my third hotel, there was some very sad looking Indian troon in a skirt standing outside the entryway, and he would always sadly try to chat me up with "hello, daaaahhhling" every time I went in or out of the hotel. On the one hand I was disgusted, on the other hand I pitied the poor ex-dude.
Fun fact: in Singapore, male-on-male sex is illegal, BUT if one of them has been castrated then it suddenly becomes legal. I found this out because the Singapore newspaper I picked up had a story about a troon who was being prosecuted for male-on-male prostitution, but got his balls cut off at some point during the process, and the newspaper made a point of how the court released him because since he no longer had his balls that meant they could no longer prosecute him for male-on-male prostitution.

>>2888088(OP) Singapore is bloody excellent for those who think about government policies and infrastructure investment. The MRT is seriously top tier. Even the buses are a complete pleasure to ride in. I rarely took taxis in Singapore because there was no need.
Please go visit the URA city gallery. Its quite interesting if you like to look at city planning. The HDB Hub in Toa Payoh is also worth a visit because its whetr you can see all the Public Housing they're building.
Even east coast park is worth visiting - when i visited there were loads of old men enjoying themselves paddle boarding or surfing. Its a very nice vibe.

Can one of the Singapore "is fun" or "filters poors" posters please specify what unique expensive fun it has please? Because from my vantage point it has neither the rich person playground gimmick stuff of Dubai, nor a serious world class restaurant scene like NY or London or others. So other than being a hyper sterile place where the Chinese food is inferior to HK/China/TW, Western food is Melbourne larp + some OK but not unique stuff, WHAT exactly is supposed to be blowing my socks off here?
00
Anonymous06/10/26(Wed)14:17:10
And yes OF COURSE China is freer than Singapore *as a foreign visitor* it's not even close. Didnt Singapore jail some Brit for not masking during covid? That would have been unfathomable in China. Not to mention daily shit like drinking/smoking wherever you want, driving moped on the sidewalk (here is where Sinkie defenders will shift the goalposts from practical freedom to cleanliness/order)

Anonymous06/10/26(Wed)14:43:03
>>2888288 There's this great restaurant called TGI Fridays. You can't miss it and you can't get it anywhere else. Singapore also has parks (other cities don't). Plus we have a zoo, which is very rare in cities.

>>2888288 Singapore is where you live. You have fun elsewhere then come back to Singapore where the transport, infrastructure, government, safety, stability is top tier. You're obviously not going to have the levels of debauchery seen in Thailand, but if you have kids, family, etc then Singapore is very good indeed. You have to see Singapore as an experiment in cutting edge public policies and as a hyper safe compound.
Theres enough fun to be had in Singapore. Its just not going to be super debauched. For eg, you can do night mangrove kayaking and marvel at how well Singapore has preserved its marine environment.
