Only thing worth visiting in the USA is nature, every city is a shithole.

>>2888498 Is Florida and Texas really that bad? Was planning to visit both this year. Haven't been to either in a decade
Might be biased but really loved San Diego in CA and Boulder in CO. Haven't been to much else in the states though.

>>2888499 Florida has a very narrow appeal, but if you fit it you'll love it. I don't care for theme parks and I'm tired of beaches because I used to live on one. If you want to go to a beach destination with a party vibe, you'll love south Florida. But the cities are dirty, half of Florida are geriatric boomers in your way, it's very expensive even for the US, and so on. I went on a bachelor party in Miami and enjoyed myself - that's about the extent of why I would go to Florida. You may enjoy it.
Texas just fucking sucks. The Dallas-San Antonio-Houston triangle is just never-ending suburban sprawl. You can't do anything without getting on a highway. There's nothing particularly standout in the area except food (and there are plenty of places with amazing food). Outside of that triangle, it's sparsely populated with literal hours of driving in the middle of nowhere to nothing. I would seriously not even recommend going to Texas unless you're doing some grand roadtrip.

>>2888501 Yeah, was only considering south Florida.
As for Texas, was planning on going to Austin for the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Oct this year and just exploring around. I wouldn't check any other city out though

Depends what you're into and your budget. For camping and hiking, Utah is the best state in the US. The national parks and state parks in Utah are amazing. There's endless amazing outdoor stuff to do. You can camp for free on any BLM land. It's super cheap to do Utah on a budget if you camp. The ski resorts in Utah are also amazing, but they're very expensive. Crime is really low. It's almost all white people. But, the food in Utah sucks. The cities and towns are boring. There is zero nightlife. And you have to have a car to do it.
Most of the western US is amazing for hiking. California has the best weather and the most variety of things to do. But it's unaffordable to live there unless you make $150K+.
The worst states are in the middle of the US. Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Dakota and Illinois are all terrible. There's nothing redeeming at all about living in a place like Oklahoma.
