Sometimes Kiwi will even give you stupidly short layovers, and I would say that's worse, especially when the flights are with different airlines with no mutual codeshare/alliance agreement.

Better alternative is you stay home. Superior first world countries like the United States of America are the greatest in the world and you should just buy a house and stay there. It's a meme. Using a VPN has no effect on flight or hotel prices. I have no idea why people keep spreading this lie.

Whatever you use, only use it as reference. Once you know what airline you will fly, always book with the airline directly. Don't ever use third party booking sites, whatever few pennies you might save is not worth it.
