I've only seen one video of his. One of the housekeepers I met in Malaysia was from an island in Indonesia, and I was doing some research on his home, and this fella popped up going to an obscure, to me at least, place, speaking Indonesian. He wasn't fluent, and there was misunderstandings, but he could do the basics for traveling. Something I haven't done since I was a young man. Pretty boss for a 50 something year old man to be living in 10 dollar a night rooms speaking the language of the locals.

I wish he didn't do the AI scripts in some of his recent videos. But he's basically what I aim to be in a few decades: a bald old white man going to strange rural areas, eating strange food, and chatting up strange women.

Idk if I'd want to move around as much at that age. He's 60 and does a video from a new city every week. I'd probably just get a retirement visa somewhere in SE Asia and do short trips in the region when bored.
