Is Moscow really as great of a city as Russians claim it is? Better than any European city?

I am talking purely travel, no politics please.

It's a city of 13 million. So yes, Moscow is a megacity. There is always the chance of politics landing on your head at some point during your visit. Ukraine drone-struck an intercity passenger train recently.
