>>740879230 I did the same thing last year. I had beaten it with a guide years ago, but I wanted to try it again with just the manual and my memory. The early dungeons weren't too bad, and the secrets are easy to spot once you recognize the tiles they appear on. But, I had to draw out Death Mountain; no way I could commit it all to memory. Pic related.

Was just about to play through Metroid 1 for the 1st time (other than some small attempts before that lasted 30 mins) and was planning on mapping it as I play just because it seems way more obtuse than Super Metroid.
>>740877634(OP) I'm old enough to remember when this was mandatory. and manuals came with a bunch of blank pages explicitly so you could draw your maps and add notes.

>>740886908 No, ESLtard. Hypertensive means high blood pressure. 'anti' means it counteracts that, which means 'no more high blood pressure' which means 'normal blood pressure'.

>>740887740 >>740887814 I used a small ruler as a straight-edge. Each room is 2cm by 1cm. There's a column of blank rooms on the left. IIRC, I either messed up the location of those rooms so I left them blank, or I was near the end of the dungeon and getting impatient.
