>>741136983(OP) It'd be so based if they made him bisexual like Jeritza. When that happens I'll spam endless gay fanart of him here and sway the public's perception of him negatively.

>>741138414 Wouldn't you be a siscon if your sister were Mercedes?
>>741140436 And that one game was the starting point and most relevant game in the franchise, so shut your mouth, engaygie retard

>>741139969 Three Houses having modern technology is supported by world building anon. That's because that world is a post-apocalyptic scenario of a super technological world that was "reset" by Sothis coming to Earth.
>>741140267 Automatons are not new in fantasy or in life. Fates had them. I know some anon will say "but dats a puppet, not the same thing" but it's no different from the Koloktos-looking shit here >>741139895 Now actual magitech stone mechs ARE a bit more of a stretch aesthetically, but again, not that far off from Stoneborn in Fates. It's all just "golems powered by magic" at the end of the day.
>>741141242 I'm trying to inform you about something you didn't seem to know about. I don't know why everyone here is always so aggressively defensive and anti-intellectual about everything all the time. There's nothing weird about robots in a fantasy setting, not in and of itself. This is a reproduction of an ancient Greek clock. It's not a stretch for fantasy to take these concepts and make them fantastic. That's what FANTASY does.

>>741140467 I wonder if agarthans are around or if this tech has been repurposed by others.
>>741142516 >Visuals That's why no one played the DS remakes >and story And why no Engage and Fates left no lasting impact on the franchise, despite being great games
The systems being copied are 3H systems, simply because that game was more well-received, even if they are worse systems. Pray your good games (from a systems perspective) have good stories and visuals, or they will be abandoned, and everything good they brought.
>>741142391 But let's not be reductive? Even 5-7 more tiles along one axis can change the flow and feel of the map. Fates CQ13 is 21x19 with a big river cutting through the X-axis. That's only a 2-tile difference, but when you factor the river in, It feels like very flattened, "smooshed," and ultimately bifurcated into two zones. Gives it a very unique feel combined with the boss rush, especially Reina, whose massive flight movement zones you out of much of the map until you deal with her.
The concern is that FW arena maps being perfect little squares is going to influence the design itself. I feel like we're already seeing that too, with most maps looking overly symmetrical.

>>741142692 I think it's option 1, but the Avatar doesn't properly join until a couple chapters in. Everything they've said about the game so far is very heavily talking about choosing a singular lord to guide, but I also don't think an Angel is going to drop on top of their heads chapter 1.

>>741142391 At this point it's not reductive that's just dishonest. you can't access 40% of that boat map lmao

I feel a deep, personal connection to siscon characters.
>>741145363 Finn is basically an avatar already. He just needs to be tweaked to be a bit more of a blank slate and he'd do.

>>741145513 >food analogy Completely different to what you mentioned about fw “visual problems” because you see your statements about the “visuals” of the map are completely exaggerated. Does it look worse than something like RD? Maybe depends on your taste. The point is that its entirely subjective and it clearly doesn’t look like something you’d describe as “shit smeared in a wall” that is just a fucking exaggeration which you faggots love to do on top of your dogshit food analogies that are also completely dishonest. The actual food analogy that applies here is apples vs oranges
300 year timeskip and Jeritza's descendant has the same personality as him, and Marianne's descendant has the same personality as her? IS is creatively bankrupt.
>>741139016 I at least appreciate that the combat animations, speed and crits are like Engage's and not 3H.

>>741146015 If there going to go crazy with fantasy transhumanism, I was hoping they would give more variety than just the overused Crest System again that honestly should just be Fodlan's thing. Maybe introduce more Agarthan bloodlines like Shez or make Hanneman's ending where he made magical tools a widespread trend for nobles or the elite, or crazy alchemy experiments or something. Making Crests 2.0 is just so repetitive and boring.
It would honestly make Daga more interesting if they had their own version of biological enhancements or weapons that rivals Crests and Relics. I honestly cannot see this being a prequel because apparently the Crest bloodlines are everywhere now, even in countries that never interacted with Fodlan. Fodlan was isolation and Rhea and the Church wanted the Crests to naturally die out like it was happening.

>>741147164 If it is a sequel, they're probably just going to leave it at what is true of all routes: >There was a big war of unification in Fodlan sometime ago >Things vaguely got better and Crests no longer define the nobility
Anons talking about Migu possibly being Alucard's little sister is so fucking dumb that I kind of want it to happen now. 99% that is just going to be one of many theories that looks dumb as hell in hindsight, but that 1% possibility would be fucking hilarious.
