I've only read a little murder mystery, but isn't the culprit supposed to remain a mystery? Like even in 12 Little Niggers, the judge's suicide letter at the end is supposed to be so ridiculously convoluted that it seems like he was framed. It gives the reader more agency to use their own intelligence.

? It's been a long while, but isn't the mystery completely laid bare (both figuratively and literally by Erika gutting some aspect of Beatrice whose name escapes me) by the end of Episode 7? What else is there to care about?

That aside, yes, murder mystery stories have the detective character revealing the truth at the end. You can make it a less explicit if you want, but the whole point is that a correct answer exists. It should also show you how the clues lead to that answer, ideally, so you can't say there wasn't a valid line of logic.
