you know, it's shit like this that makes me wonder why some people insist on not just starting Deltarune first but refusing to engage with Undertale at all. There's some parts of the story that you will get left behind with, most pointedly the relationship of the player and player character being subverted in Undertale and then said subversion getting flipped on its head in Deltarune.
