The third job wolf skills seem to be mostly just higher damage versions of the druid skills. This skill has a unique body sprite animation, and it does the same thingy as Chase Walk where the character spin in place.
Although the game more or less wants you to commit to one of the three options, it absolutely is possible to use magic while transformed. The mode skills for elemental magic are mutually exclusive with the transformations, but it does give you more options. If you don't need the entirety of your DPS output, you can just cast spells in Raptor mode and get a free +25% movement bonus.
3rd job Wolf was underwhelming but the 4th one is very nice. Okay so, it's a combo build, like combo monk, but there's a key change. Primal Claw, Feral Claw, and Alpha Claw are three different skills and need to be used in order. However, you only need ONE BUTTON because, when you use the first skill, the shortcut turns into the next skill, and then into the third, and back to the first skill. Moreover, it's paired with a mechanic that stack Madness stacks as you keep hitting enemies. Notice that the outline around the wolf changes color to show the level of Madness. At max stacks, they get more damage, higher AoE and the attacks can crit. The incentive here is to attack continuously, without stopping, so you don't drop charge.

Again, another novel mechanic. This skill would be just a regular celf-centered wind AoE, weren't for the fact that you can keep the button pressed to repeatedly recast it.
Directional wave-shape earth spell. It says that it can remove ground effects, so probably things like Land Protector. Rebellion has a similar skill.

That's all for now. It's neat that we now have a class that can specialize into earth spells, and the transformations are interesting to play. The wolf is tankier but the raptor is faster and has more ranged options. You can build hybrid characters, fast moving casters, tanky casters, or just each path's strengths. Should be easy to adapt for pre-re gameplay.
In terms of equipment, Druids can equip daggers, 1 and 2 handed axes, maces and shields. The ranged spells are all STR based, so this is a way of making a ranged character that isn't DEX heavy. They didn't bother adding any Druid exclusive weapons other than the Paradise/Eden freebies, so you only have that + vanilla weapons to use. Karnos and Alitea have exclusive weapons but they are the usual renewal fare, where most of the weapon's usefulness is locked behind high refines.

>>2563863 That's a pre-renewal characteristic. I guess that the most important Wind mob in the game would be Hill Wind, since that's such an important spot for so many classes. There's also Galions, Seekers, Harpies, but those are way less important.
