>recent updates have just been +1 -1 type balancing to random things Literally just fake work to pad out the patch notes

>>2569263(OP) Don't forget >Increased the amount of thread required to weave a fabric roll from 100 to 400 Where would they even get the data think this was necessary? I don't think I've crafted fabric roll even once but if I did I'm sure it was already tedious at 100 thread

>>2569325 You could make fabric rolls, turn them into clothes, turn them into thread, and then turn them back into fabric endlessly. But instead of just doing the sensible thing and making it a 'bit' harder to make fabric rolls they QUADRUPLED the cost.

I said it before and I'll say it again >balancing an unfinished game >fixing minor, non-critical bugs in an unfinished game >piling up minor mechanics that don't interact with anything else You guys remember the health system? What about cooking? Electrical systems? Really gotta pretend to be busy.

Why'd you guys make a new thread so early?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I wish TIS would hurry making NPCs so I can see the absolute fucking disaster they're going to be.

>>2570026 I remember that the crafting was supposed to come with a quality system tied to it so items created at higher skill level would have a chance to have better stats
>>2570434 they've already spent years laying rhetorical groundwork in preparation for them being an utter disappointment on first release
the first pass on them will likely just be dumb animal-level set pieces like aimbot soldiers at checkpoints to make you stay away, faked/abstracted survivors spawned on the spot to die or chat basic lines and run off rather than them really doing anything in the world
>Be Project Zomboid player >Game is fun enough, but I want mods >Shitloads of 1993 themed mods, addons, map expansions, etc >Installs shitload of anime clothing options, trans flags, and loot-table bloaters >Character looks like some mixture of hatsune miku, a UK slag and 200 gallons of silicone and latex Why does this happen every fucking time?
>>2575166 Sorry, the protons on Lemmy's laptop started decaying, it'll have to be delayed.

>>2569347 Ah yes, the CDDA approach. It's not about balance or realism, it's about making the game worse.

Reminder lemmy actively makes development choices out of spite.

>>2569347 >You could make fabric rolls, turn them into clothes, turn them into thread, and then turn them back into fabric endlessly. i don't see a problem with this because the consequence is a SHIT load of wasted time to do it, which this game is already rife with endless timed actions
