>>2579122 thanks. it's an annoyance that interrupts regular gameplay so you can sit in your house with silly vision for 10 minutes, i'd rather not deal with it

>>2579090 The only fps games in my lib are singleplayer outside of borderlands2/3, the finals, straftat, squad, I own more tps like the division1/2 remnant1/2 etc.
Attention all /doko/nons! One of /doko/'s most popular games in recent memory, Don't Starve Together, is currently on SALE for 90% OFF! 90%! It's so cheap that it's basically free! And with each purchase you get an extra copy to send to a friend so you can carry (or get carried by!) your /doko/ crush in a ruthless survival sandbox! You can make a base so functional and pretty that your fellow anons will praise your architectural and aesthetic sense! You can farm many different crops alongside meat, honey and mutated rocks and combine them into the finest gourmet dishes your fellow 'nons have ever laid their eyes on! You can make elemental staves with the souls of dogs that set your house on fire or magic swords with the very essence of nightmares! You can go batshit insane using said staves and swords and get eaten by your own worst nightmares manifest! You can freeze to death! You can die of heatstroke! You can get mauled by a hound the size of a minivan! You can get bitch-slapped by a hentai tentacle! You can even get rammed to death by a sliding penguin! But when you get good, and I know you will because you're a real gamer aren't you anon, you can bring the fight to these horrible creatures! Have you ever wanted to kill a cyclops with antlers? What about a ravenous worm the size of a small village? What about german Santa Claus? I know you have, and now you can! But how will you kill them? Your choice of character will decide! Will you kill them by siccing your kawaii ghost imouto-chan on them while playing as the depressive emo girl? Or will you build an armada of dog-sized spiders while playing as the mutant spider-human? Or will you go directly into glorious honourable combat as the nordic battle maiden? Or maybe you'd prefer building an artillery platform at your enemies' doorstep as the tomboy mechanic? It's all possible! BUY the game right now, and you'll get a FREE xenia guide at some point!

>>2580685 I'll be back from Medford this weekend and can host on sat or Sunday for awhile. I'm open to someone else hosting and just being a joinchad instead.
>>2580720 It really is! It's such a great offer that you'll never get another one like it in your lifetime, and if you don't strike while the iron is hot, you'll live your entire life full of regret and die a miserable early death wondering why you didn't get in on this fantastic deal while you had the chance! Buy now! >>2580753 The original Don't Starve's beta released in 2012 while the game fully released in 2013! Minecraft on the other hand had its release in 2011, and that was way before it was super popular, so Don't Starve is a pioneer of its genre, not a bandwagon jumper or poorly made clone by any means! It also has barely anything in common with Minecraft, it's not even 3D! >>2580755 I can join this weekend no problem, whether it's you or someone else hosting. If someone else wants to try becoming a hostGOD that attracts all the mikos I'll provide a xenia guide to make your job easier! >>2580760 Good luck anon, with how cheap the game is right now you might be able to get more than just one extra copy by liquidating your steam card collection!
>>2580685 I already had the game. I'm not really interested in multiplayer since the few times I've tried back then people were speedrunning like retards >Day 1: nice time to explore the map >Day 3: i've mapped the borders, let me go back to middle and think of a base setup >Day 4: they already have a base up with crook pots, fridges, 20 farms while running in football helmets and the center forest have been completely burned up

>>2580927 Install the cheat mods to skip to the good stuff and it's a lot more fun
>>2580927 I've noticed the same thing on public DST servers, but that's because they usually have lots of players (10+) actively trying to speedrun the game. Public servers kind of die out after the first autumn, actually, since important locations like the ruins are completely looted before winter. On the other hand nobody in recent /doko/ starve lobbies seemed skilled enough to speedrun that hard, we mostly had casual players or fresh installs, and even if such players existed I'm sure they would lay off the gas if asked nicely. /doko/ is a high trust general after all, in fact our pre-reset DST world only had seasonal bosses killed despite it being an entire year old.
