The weather monster in the trailer is just Rayquaza.
Man, it was years ago when I joked that the lesson nintendo should take from palworld is that it's ok to launch in an unfinished state and someone on this board insisted that it had hit 1.0 already.
Huge fucking moron, misinformed... or just disingenuous. I'll never know what that guys problem was.
>>59339560(OP) I want to like it, but I just don't enjoy playing survival crafting games. To anyone who's tried Palworld, how heavily to you have to engage in the crafting and base micromanagement to get a good experience out of it?

I don't get why these threads never get deleted, I'm not against it but this is clearly off-topic. When are the badmins gonna bite the bullet and make this board Pokémon + other monster catching games (Pokémon will still easily be 80% of threads)

>>59340302 It's not off topic, we've needed to make /vp/ a general monster collecting game board for a decade.

Anonymous06/07/26(Sun)02:40:48
>>59340302 They probably don't want to do that so they can filter all the bad threads into /v/. Speaking of "off-topic", did someone checked that gacha/Pokémon thing that some youtubers are maaking ads about? All I saw was a bug with Kamina glasses fighting zombies, and I was like "I feel the monster taming genre is gravitating out what actually is."
>>59340319 The quality of the board would improve so much, I don't know why it's not been done. If I want to discuss Digimon, I have to go on 3 different boards to cover all aspects of my autistic attachment, and they still tell me to fuck off here, where I'm not supposed to discuss it.
If anything, I just want to be able to discuss the Digimon games on 4chan somewhere other than /v/, they're genuinely the most miserable, cancerous bunch of cunts I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. /vrpg/ is okay, but they don't like me talking about the monster raising titles, and the Digimon threads die so quickly it's not worth trying most of the time.

>>59341391 >they don't like me talking about the monster raising titles Did you forgot, anon? /v/ hates videogames, they don't even play them. They just watch vtubers play them or open Twitter and cherrypick dumb takes.
>>59342717 >Sekhmet >panda girl >now rabbit clussy Gamefreak better put some god tier designs in gen 10 if they don't want it to be overshadowed by Palworld...

Is this a good time to buy the game? It’s 25% off and the steam page says they might rise the price when the full release comes out next month

Anonymous06/08/26(Mon)01:11:19
>>59343103 I mean, if you can afford ot, buy it now. When 1.0 releases, it will be during the Summerfeat, so many Steam games will have an increase in prices. Sure, sales as well, but considering everyone will be buying 1.0 to either dunk or protect Nintendo, the game WILL sell.

>>59340078 When the game first released it wasn't very good. It was decent if you were crazy for survival crafting games but even then it was lacking way too much and was way too buggy and the grind was excessive within the first hour when you reached ore and learned that you needed tens of thousands of it and every single in-game day started with a trip to the church to get a bunch of ore and that sort of experience just kind of repeated and it was all you did because there really wasn't anything else to do in the game that gave anything of value toward progression.
I wouldn't say I enjoyed Palworld at launch but the creature collection and exploration aspects kept me playing much longer than I otherwise would have. After several updates I feel pretty comfortable saying it's a good game even if you're not big on the survival crafting genre and mainly want to play to catch monsters regardless of where you fall on the spectrum from creating your monster harem to creating a genetically modified inbred freak team to conquer every challenge. If you understand all the tools and options available to you there's barely any grind until you're several dozen hours in and you reach the very end of the game. With the current state of the game if you're ever spending more than 90% of your play time(excluding the very beginning when you're half naked and don't have shit and you're still getting all the basics established and the very end when you're just min/maxing your equipment) on gathering or crafting it's because something has gone over your head. When you know what you're doing a vast majority of your gameplay is exploring the world, catching Pals, clearing dungeons, hunting shinies, raiding bases, taking on tower bosses or whatever it is that you want to do that isn't base management or hitting rocks/trees.
