What's the point in making them? GF got our hopes high only to let us down....

Autists need to stop speculating shit for 2000 hours of their life before a game comes out, getting over-invested results in unfulfilled expectations. Just wait for the game to come out THEN talk about the finished product. Some of those (mostly the ancient ones) are still cool designs.

>>59353002(OP) It was suppose to reference explorers misinterpreting things they saw while they were documenting discoveries.
GF, and frankly japan as a whole, genuinely do not understand that presenting something unfinished IMPLIES that it WILL be finished. I don't know what it is, but they genuinely treat teasers and concepts like this as equally as fully-realised as if they were numbered mons all the same. Not the same category, but the same value. So many pieces of jap media will mention something offhand and never elaborate on it or bring it up again and the japs are always perplexed at westerners wanting it to be fully fleshed out. The japs see this and say "Oh, neat, it was an inaccurate drawing in the end! How cool!"

>>59353313 I certainly don't think every stone has to be turned and every mystery unraveled. The problem here is that we did get the Paradox Suicune and Verizion shortly afterwards, and they were underwhelming.
>>59353002(OP) >>59353313 >>59353324 You illiterate retards refuse to read and then proceed to blame others for your very own retardation kek you do deserve to eat shit

>>59353347 >the sketches depicting the muskedeers and the beasts, and the sole paradoxes released post-launch being the muskedeers and the beasts, is a mere coincidence in-universe You can barely blame me for my brain refusing to save any space for such garbage writing and world-building.

>>59353390 >fan interpretation this is some insane copium. You're aware we're discussing decisions made by a company on what to put into a game and not the lore of the game, right?
>>59353396 >fan interpretation You lack reading comprehension. That would require there to be something to interpret. As it stands, the researchers chose to "interpret" Paradox beasts and muskedeers seemingly at random, and next you know, those specific paradox counterparts appear. The chance of that happening is something like 0.1%.

Anonymous06/11/26(Thu)19:29:08
you never geting cool designs pokemon is just memes , yokai watch won
>>59353587 The point is that they are real, it just happens to be zero correlation between the sketches and the actual pokémon. It is merely a coincidence that the pokémon the researchers based their sketches on and the the pokémon the few remaining paradoxes were related to are one and the same. >>59353599 Please take preschool math if you think picking out the muskedeers and beasts from all pokémon randomly is 100%.

>>59353613 >Anon really thought the imagined pokemon that was explicitly stated to not be real actually existed
00
Anonymous06/11/26(Thu)20:21:13
>>59353614 You're completely missing the point. Both the sketches and the real things are based on the same Pokémon, but the game does not give any explanation for such a huge coincidence.
00
Anonymous06/11/26(Thu)20:23:04
>>59353622 >the sketches and the real things are based on the same Pokémon They aren't Walking wake is not a chimera it's just a sauropod version of suicune no design features of both entei and suicune were added on walking wake
>>59353626 >there is a sketch mashing suicune, entei, and raikou together >then the three remaining past paradoxes are based on suicune, entei, and raikou
The point is that they're the same pokémon, for seemingly no reason.
00
Anonymous06/11/26(Thu)20:26:23
>>59353630 >The point is that they're the same pokémon They quite literally aren't tho? the chimera is a completely different creature

Anonymous06/11/26(Thu)20:32:23
>>59353628 If that were true, the fusions in the sketches would have appeared in the game. It wasn't a power of imagination/dream. The appearance of the two trios is a return to reality, which has nothing to do with imagination.
