Beedrill has the honor of being one of like two pokemon who can kind of hit psychic types for non-useless super effective damage. Sure he dies instantly to the return shot, or gets outsped and dies instantly, or would be outclassed by any half-decent attacker with body slam, but poking Sabrina's nerds with real bug moves and hoping her AI doesn't use a damaging attack is a specific type of exhilarating.

For me though, it's the horseshoe crab.

At a game level, in my last gameplay I discovered that Geodude is my favorite.All the bug catchers, Rattata trainers and the zubat in caves were cleaned by this pokemon. Not to mention the electric gym.
