Genetics play into psionics. Most psions you meet have two schools at best. The beetles have three but only when they're acting as a hive. For someone with all four to their maximum to exist, they would have to be artificially created.
It's funny how little those 20% feats really matter in the grand scheme of things. Don't feel bad or like I'm mocking you: you're talking to a guy who did an SMG throwing knife run but almost never actually used throwing knives even though I got all the feats before throwing knives were really buffed. I just thought throwing knives were cool. Never used them.
Also, had to repair my SMGs so fucking much. Like after every fight. It was horrible.

I'd say Oculus' biggest blunder was somehow not finding Wit Nosek in Core City when the two labs are so close and the fucker is the right there before you ever came along.
Take in the fact Azif has no clue what the Godmen are actually like and mistakes the Shadowlith for a monolith, Oculus doesn't know nearly as much as they think they do or are as capable. Even Azif doesn't know what his own operative did to infiltrate the Faceless.

I was thinking of having one of the final scenes be Fax asking Ezra how much of his memories are fake. Only for Ezra to confirm they're real. He just doesn't remember his time in cryosleep because he was an infant. They were trying to make a replacement Cognator that could finish the job (tying into what you do in the Void Battle). Thought Control at its absolute height. But that would require the creation of the ultimate psion. And such a being wouldn't be obedient at all, having a ludicrous will to manage that much ability without going insane. Their plans were to just record his psionic emissions to find a way for a Cognator to mimic them. And then the alliance broke down. Hollow Earth happened. Old Biocorp morphed into the New Biocorp. None of their scientists had any idea what the fuck he was, so they just maintained the facility. When that eventually went tits up, a scientist unlocked and took care of him for a few years, leading into the beginning of the story about him growing up.
Taking the pill would only cause a surge, never having an inhibitor to begin with. Then he'd pick up psionic abilities far too easily. And eventually he'd realize all of his technology skills are way too in depth for a scavenger, having leeched the thoughts of everyone managing his facility in the passing centuries. The Godmen would interest him for a while before encountering Six and coming to the conclusion he's a far greater being. But the real thing he'd admire is Tchort, a God of the Flesh.
Would this be a good way to make pure psi wizard more fun?
