>>2428557 >its a picture of a high res CRT I didn't notice it. Frankly, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference even if you were lying.

>>2428568 >beautiful soldiers yeah i fucked up. shit on me, i'll get ya next time
literally the whole fanbase of the game complained about 3K because they made 3 entires "new" civs based on kingdoms that barely lasted 30-40 years and were irrelevant
guess fucking what? every single european kingdom that doesnt fit that description ALREADY IS IN THE GAME so seriously, i dont know what the fuck you guys expect more to add from Europe, that isnt "split into these very niche specific shortlived towns" or isnt just the same civilization but from a 400 hundreds years earlier / later

>>2428396 The missions feel pretty hit or miss, id like em more if they had more variety.
>>2428720 Swiss Confederation (Helvetians) have the same relevance as Bohemians Some Slcaveni (Croatians, Serbs, Albanians) umbrella would be neat to spleet up the "Slavs" umbrella and fill the gaps in the west Balkans (unless you consider the Bulgarians as filling their umbrella) On that topic, differentiating between Slavs and Rus would be good, since we've gotten more Slavic politics since The Forgotten. I guess that's why people want Vlachs too But that's the most I get get out of europe without being any extraneous bloat. I don't see any value in spleeting the AoK euros, they're pretty good umbrellas (with Goths being any backwards barbarian), and there are plenty of dumb, redudant requests that can't be solved with adding a unique regional/unit variant over a UU and brand new civ Persians should get Central Asian architecture and Byzantines, Armenians, Georgians, and Bulgarians a shared set as well

>>2428396 I only play single player. I've played the majority of campaigns
Kotyan Khan, Ivaylo, Grand Dukes, Le Loi, Algirdas and Kestutis, Jadwiga, El Cid, Barbarossa, Francisco de Almeida, Tamerlane, Genghis Khan, Tamar, Thoros II, Rajendra, The Hautevilles are my personal favorites so far. Amazing story, characters, very fun scenarios. Kotyan Khan is THE standard imo of how to do a AoE campaign.
Attila the Hun, Vlad Dracula, Pachacuti, Joan of Arc, Saladin, Tariq ibn Ziyad, Prithviraj, Sundjata, Devapala, Pachacuti, Suryavarman I, Yodit, Edward Longshanks, Jan Zizka, Saladin, are enjoyable campaigns, the story might be engaging, but the scenarios aren't very fun, or one or two scenarios are boring to play.
Gajah Mada, Bari, Sforza, Alaric were boring to play, only finished because i am a completionist. THe story sucks, the scenarios suck. Sforza stars out ok, then it gets boring fast. Alaric is just a grind all the time, besides the siege of Rome it sucks ass.
The rest i haven't played yet I ahve also completed all Historical Battles and Victors & Vanquished scenarios, but i woudl have to do a separate ranking
i do wonder if handcannoneers will ever get (another) buff like they have in the past? maybe someday.

They truly fumbled AoE 4. Why set another game in medieval times? They should've made AoE 4 set in 1800 until the dawn of ww1

>>2429007 not only that, but they made it ugly and with heat seeking arrows. Why compete with the GOAT, Business people are retarded, they remake good games and fail because they can't compete with the artistry, but they ignore great concepts that were implemented poorly because they only look at numbers.
God I have such utter contempt for the ruling classes incompetence.

>>2428949 honestly rather this than the splitfaggotry from here
>>2428720 >>2429022 Hey screw you man, aoe4 as a sequel to aoe2 should and would have worked if they hadn't made the game atrocious to look at. A lot of people want aoe2 without the bloat (in terms of civs and mechanics) and I'm sure no one would mind civs who are actually different. What people didn't want was reskinned aom units and mechanics and matrix aesthetics and retarded looking units, in terms of both design and graphics. Half of the time the units look like plastic. The other half, like plushies

>>2428720 Yeah sure, splitting civs suck and irrelevant civs suck, but if that's the case we should be done with adding civs altogether. You can't seriously say that the game needed 10 different American civs. Can't say that it's fine to have 5 Indians all riding a different type of camel, but also that it's not a problem for an entire slab of continent across 1000 years to just be "Slavs". That HRE should only have 1 civ which barely represents them properly. All the different houses of knightly Franks fighting each other, and there's only one civ to represent them with a fucking viking axeman as their unique unit. Same for the Brits.

So...nobody will challenge Hera?
Fucking hell, back when Viper was winning anything, Hera rising up was awesome, but enough is enough. Are we goign to have to wait for Hera to reach his 30's and lsoe his agility with the keybaord and mouse for others to start winning the big tournaments as well?
