What if on April 28th, Fuwawa's medical problem came back and so they realized the surgery was unsuccessful?
If the surgery was their last chance effort to fix something very wrong with her and it didn't work, then maybe that means there is no surgical solution and that means they'll have to graduate?

If that's what happened, they would be inconsolable. It would completely explain why Mama Puppy would offer to come to Japan to stay with them for so long, because they would feel like their lives are over and they'd be too sad to function by themselves. Of course she would want to comfort her daughters who received such bad news.
It would also explain the sudden cancelation of all their plans and streams on April 28. It would explain why they stopped talking to us and can't stream, because they can't make the announcement yet and seeing us happy for them in chat would make them break down crying.
It would explain why they're suddenly busy every day recording so much so quickly, because they'll never have another chance.
It'd even possibly explain why Mococo was still so depressed after Fuwawa came back. Maybe Fuwawa's prognosis was mixed and so they were waiting for the results of a test and so she was still really anxious. And then the test results came in on the 28th.

FUWAMOCO will be graduating because of Fuwawa's illness, which wasn't successfully cured with the surgery.

Day 1041: Today I've just done my anki reps, I've learned 5 new cards.

The timeline of events and information, as they have unfolded:
• Fuwawa had a medical problem and while it didn't hurt, it would require surgery to fix.
• They found out about needing surgery a little while before they told us.
• They likely received some kind of bad news during the Yu-Gi-Oh stream on February 12th, possibly confirmation she needed surgery, although this is just speculative.
• They were too upset about it to spend Valentine's Day with us.
• Mococo became too upset to stream and Fuwawa was the only one that showed up during the streaming relay for Mori's charity event on February 16.
• They made a "we're back" member's stream on February 20th, but they severely cut back on streaming for the next month.
• On March 19, they announced the surgery.
• They stated that the surgery was not life-threatening, but it was scary and needed to be fixed.
• They said it would require a month of hospitalization, which is not uncommon in Japan for specific types of surgeries.
• Fuwawa's last known appearance on stream before the surgery was on March 21. On March 24, Advent did an ASMR stream, however this was likely pre-recorded.
• Mococo was supposed to be in the holoEN golf-it tournament on March 27, but she no-showed for reasons likely pertaining to the surgery, and so the surgery probably happened between March 22 and March 27.
• Mococo was supposed to do solo streams during this time, but she was too upset and anxious, and later said she felt bad about not streaming enough.
• Fuwawa came back on April 23. Mococo was still visibly distressed and quiet. It was clear she was still anxious about something.
• They made a lot of streaming plans for the following week, and uploaded thumbails for multiple planned streams.
• On April 28th, they suddenly canceled all upcoming streams and removed all frames with the only explanation being that "Mococo was sick".
• The following week, they appear in Lui's Animal Tower Battle Tournament on May 3rd. Fuwawa is playing from Nerissa's house, using her switch.
• The following day, Fuwawa calls in to Mio's Golden Week wake-up gyakutotsu and says that Mococo is still sick and so she can't come to the call.
• They are completely silent until a May 21 SPCollect stream and a May 22 holovillage stream, where they reveal that their Mom had to fly out to Japan to help them and is currently staying with them. It seems she had already been staying there for some time.
• They stream ENRECO with seperate POVs between April 24 and April 29. Unlike previous dual-POV streams, they cannot be heard at all in each other's stream, even when screaming, possibly indicating they are streaming from different locations.
• On June 2nd, they stream a single day of Botan's Minecraft event for half the day's duration. Fuwawa's audio is audibly compressed through discord.
• The following week, they tweet that their mom is still with them in Japan.
