You'll rarely use it depending on your choice of Distribution and Environment, and if you do have to use it, someone on the internet has had gone through the exact same situation and pasted the command they used so you can copy paste.
Windowsfags and people with no knowledge of Linux often complain about the Terminal but in all honesty you'll likely be filtered by something else instead. Make use of Linux's USB bootability or VMs and try it out yourself.
